She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

we were happy people then.
"Your bisexuality is in the least bit disturbing." Guess one of the reasons why I like Adam Lambert.Caught "Haunting in Connecticut" yesterday.. And strangely had a very good sleep when I got home that night, which means I woke up at 3.30 in the afternoon today after thirteen hours of sleep. Because I did some research on the movie afterwards, which was supposed to scare me a whole lot more but guess what it didn't. ![]() Does this guy scare the shit out of you? No right? I mean, seriously, who would actually mind having this guy sleep beside you tonight? Or even better, tomorrow and the day after as well. For starters look at that cute blonde hair and the gorgeous smile. :) He's Erik J. Berg and he plays the good ghost in the show (Jonah), he's 18 this year and his birthday is on 15 July, which is this Wednesday! Okay I shall stop fangirling. He beats Robert Pattinson by a million times hands down. ![]() How to compare this with that?! Loser. He's so ugly he makes me have goosebumps all over. They probably selected such an ugly guy to play the role to make the million and one girls out there be less obsessed with the Edward-whatever person. And even if you're an Edward fan you have to agree with me that the Pattinson guy looks horrible. Let's use the Twilight line: Edward is supposed to be perfect!!! Or I'm probably just really biased against him because I'm the weird type of people who just hates what everyone else likes. Like how I will never play River Flows in You on piano because everyone's playing it. Pardon those thick bushy eyebrows though, because I have them as well and it makes me look very fierce and unfriendly huh. Dad's genes, they say he looks like a school principal. So when I don't smile I basically look like this: >:( Include sulking too because my lower lip is thicker than my upper lip. And Andrew Leong if you're reading this now you said I looked like a dinosaur in P5, even if you don't remember. End topic. Do not go scrutinize my pictures and laugh at them. Wow I've digressed alot. Coming back to Haunting in Connecticut. As compared to Drag Me To Hell it was really about five times scarier, even YM was scared and she screamed once what the hell right. I think both the movies used alot of the "startling" trick, just that one was more predictable than the other. The characters in DMTH weren't that scary too - old lady huh, at least she spoke man made it so much less creepy (those who don't speak are alot scarier), and the whole hell thing is pretty unbelievable considering the fact that I'm not a Christian. Then there was the dancing over fire part which was hilarious. Haunting in Connecticut reminded me of The Amityville Horror I watched about 3 years ago at home - but there was a little girl in the latter, whose image I still can't get out of my mind. Connecticut made scream alot but it was muffled with the help of my Theatre jacket.. At least this time I know the standard operating procedures to be taken note of before watching a horror movie. It's rated 18% on Rotten Tomatoes but really, it wasn't that bad, or probably it's because I haven't watched many horror movies before so I can't judge accurately. Amanda couldn't bathe without hyperventilating afterwards (I rushed to do before sunset), but tsk tsk some people didn't even watch the movie huh! I did by covering the jacket over half of my eye but it still counted as I did, fortunately Teresa explained the plot to me after the movie. And at least it was cleverer than DMTH (what kind of plot is that). Yeah but of course I wouldn't dare to watch either trailer right now alone in my room. I'm quite optimistic that the more horror I watch the more it trains up my courage or something. I'm very tempted to spam horror now. Orphan next, eh? Now this one will be unforgettable.. The two I've mentioned above were kind of the type you will forget over some time. Orphan isn't and the trailer already tells you that, which was what we saw like almost immediately after stepping out of the cinema. Wonder if it will even be PG. Hope it won't be so bad that I have to wake people up just to get a glass of water at 3am though I predict it will. I don't like little girls. *shudder* I guess that is all. LA lessons are getting pretty fun. The rest of the week is not worth talking about, I guess I'm just making things very difficult for myself. I'm glad that the school week ended with going out for that movie cause it was really what made it worth haha. Dance today was awesome. Damn, I like you, I like you but I really want her. Did a center split on Wednesday and Friday, imagine the shock I felt. (: 21 Guns kept ringing in my head all morning yesterday, looping it like crazy for the whole of today. Love the lyrics too it's very meaningful, and the 21-gun salute thing is pretty cool. I think it's the only Green Day song I like apart from Wake Me Up When September Ends.. That's one's incomparable. "21 Guns" - Green Day Do you know what's worth fighting for? When it's not worth dying for? Does it take your breath away And you feel yourself suffocating? Does the pain weigh out the pride? And you look for a place to hide? Did someone break your heart inside? You're in ruins One, 21 guns Lay down your arms, give up the fight One, 21 guns Throw up your arms into the sky, you and I When you're at the end of the road And you lost all sense of control And your thoughts have taken their toll When your mind breaks the spirit of your soul Your faith walks on broken glass And the hangover doesn't pass Nothing's ever built to last You're in ruins One, 21 guns Lay down your arms, give up the fight One, 21 guns Throw up your arms into the sky, you and I Did you try to live on your own When you burned down the house and home? Did you stand too close to the fire Like a liar looking for forgiveness from a stone? When it's time to live and let die And you can't get another try Something inside this heart has died You're in ruins [x2] One, 21 guns Lay down your arms, give up the fight One, 21 guns Throw up your arms into the sky hilary (5 Jul 09, 19:15) |
