Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol.
She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for.
She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism.
She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship.
Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours.
Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all.
“Forevers” are bullshit as of now.
The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too.
She is always torn between two.
But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.

dance on fear, keep going.
I'm dancing in my head. When lessons get too boring I tune out and start dancing, tracing and retracing the steps in my mind. It's what keeps me going these days, and coffee of course.
Jogged to KAP and back after school today, after watching Amanda's Math SIA presentation. Coincidentally it's on the same topic I'm at now, so I paid attention and actually understood some stuff heh! Didn't time for today cause we haven't been running together for about two months, so stamina needs to be gained back. Stopped a bus stop before Nanyang, walked to the patrol station to get a a drink. Theatre elections are coming.
I'm sorry Erik I didn't wish you happy birthday yesterday. So happy belated birthday. Please take more pictures I don't wanna be stuck gazing just those two. Super sweet eye candy. (: And tomorrow's my dad's birthday and we're going out for dinner, hope my brother recovers in time. I think he's having some sort of a fever, take care.
The tiniest thing scares me these days. Rock-a-bye baby on the tree top, when the wind blows the cradle will drop. That's really, really enough. You know, I really had alot to blog but I just forgot about everything. Okay in the morning today I blew into my thermometer (the forehead one), right after drinking my coffee, so I got a really cool temperature of 42.6 degree celcius.
During Chinese lesson today Wu Laoshi was playing some video which got real boring in the middle so I gave up just slept, for about five minutes. And in that five minutes of nap I had, I drooled (alot) and had a dream, just can't remember what dream it was. So in conclusion it was a really sweet five minutes of sleep. They should really allocate a specific five minutes of sleep time during a lesson on the early mornings, like perhaps at 8.30am everyday an announcement would come over the PA system and go something like, "All students please take a nap for five minutes now."
Sometimes it seriously helps to rejuvenate. Rather than the student having to force herself to stay awake and in the end can't concentrate at all throughout the lesson. After all it's only five minutes, some teachers can digress about stuff for fifteen. Then some students can also chiong homework during that sacred five minutes. Good idea right. How come I never appreciated freaking two-hour naps during kindergarten? Come on, I'd kill to have that now.
Can't forget this, thank you Qiuhao, Shenlin, Bernie and Weelin for helping me out with the bookmarks today, and I guess a few more who tied one or two haha. It was real nice you know, like each of us had people who wanted to help us out so the job got done pretty quickly. I think if I were to do it all myself I would turn blind, like how I almost did after cutting stuff for three hours straight yesterday.
Mr Chia sat in for Malay today, which was really helpful cause it lightened the whole atmosphere. Especially since it was right after History when we got really restless for about the last ten minutes, and it was the last lesson of the day. Malay doesn't actually suck that much, what with Cikgu Hanim's constant rolling of eyes, "I don't know whether to feel insulted or extremely amused." - Cheryl.
On a side note, ICT is really fun. Love my flash animation, I have intentions of actually submitting it as my assignment.
I think I'll be eating alot for class breakfast tomorrow. There's art, dance and CME, official lessons are only Science and LA. CME, I'm seriously bringing colour pencils tomorrow to colour the figures in the book. I'll lend you mine H, we're both people with deprived childhood aren't we! I love to colour, maybe someday I'll ransack my room for my colour book which I'm pretty sure still exists somewhere.
Had a short chat with H over MSN just now, about feelings that I've bottled up since months ago, just that recently it has been getting overpowering. Explains the annoying drastic moodswings eh? But it's okay, soon it'll be a thing of the past, because people doubt, don't trust enough to rely or fall back on. Dancing on the edge, risktaking, makes you have harder time for everything, after all most would prefer and worship the stability who has proved everything they wanted to see. But those are the people who run the rat race, round, around and around, forever running in circles.
