She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.

Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol.

She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for.

She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism.

She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship.

Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours.

Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all.

“Forevers” are bullshit as of now.

The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too.

She is always torn between two.

But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.

Freaking Photobucket scared me more than this woman did - some cat food advertisement video suddenly played while I was in the midst of uploading my photos. The above is the apparent signature picture of Drag Me To Hell, which I mustered every single bit of my courage to watchwatched today. Koped Hwaimun's idea of enlarging it to make it super big for the sole purpose of scaring whoever who comes to my blog. Hope you had a heart attack.

Drag Me To Hell. Title sounded intriguing all right, but the rest was completely expected. If I remember correctly this is the second horror movie I've watched in a cinema (the third one shall be Orphan) so I'm being damn brave today. But if you ask me how loud the sound was I can't tell you that since I was covering my ears 90% of the time, completely depending on myself though I was also regretting it a little bit when the first "pop out" came on. And for me it wasn't even that scary since I was looking down 50% of the time so that's like $3 gone out of the 6.

As you probably know I'm a very weird person, so the times which I were looking down were all the silent-except-for-laboured-breathing pre-"pop outs" scenes - you know, leaves rustling, curtains fluttering wildly, doors creaking. I'm serious, it was typical as that. Same with the camera angle, zoomed slowly to the main character (back view) while she slowly turns her head around. And I continue watching the rest after the "pop out"s end, meaning they are infact what makes me scared. Not the attacks or how the old woman looks like or whatever. I just hate the sudden loud noises and images but that's the whole point of horror movies anyway. I'm awesome, still.

There are parts which are seriously funny? Like I couldn't stop laughing when the Lamia spirit was "dancing" over the fire, moreover the soundtrack accompanying it sounded like some circus song. Yeah that's the most memorable one, followed by the part where the main actress was spinning all over her room and the whole scene looked like a washing machine. Hmm and apparently ghosts carrying trombones made someone very hyped up. There was gore too - best - though not much. Loved the cemetery scene as well as the scene where they summoned the Lamia spirit. Awesome sets.

Anybody wants to watch Orphan with me? It's out on 13th August. I have a feeling I'm going to be freaked out big time by that one, cause children horror (and Asian horror, because of the culture and stuff) are scariest. It's all about the contrast - innocence of children contrasting with evil. It's like the old lady from DMTH holding a knife it wouldn't be as scary as a little girl holding one. Oh and second question, why is it always females? Is it because of the hair? Yup and here are more pictures of the old woman from DMTH. Her real name is Lorna Raver, and she's beautiful.

I'm pretty sure I can sleep tonight! Denise made me worry so much by saying that her friend couldn't sleep for three days three nights after watching the movie. And that someone screamed very loudly in the cinema. Actually today there was this girl sitting behind us who screamed like damn long and damn high-pitched too, I think it was about five seconds.

Family Chalet '09
12th - 14th June. Pictures on FB. DAMN FUN.

Or at least I enjoyed it, while people like my 三姨 wanted to cry cause she prefers to have the aircon switched on in her room while using the computer comfortably. But I really think everyone still had a good time at the end of it! Should have more of these family outings in the holidays, great time to catch up with one and another once in awhile. I went on Friday night cause had stuff to clear in the afternoon, project stuff like IvP etc. Ended up not doing much though.

Had dinner at some seafood restaurant with my mum, dad and Wan Ting, the food wasn't very nice. But there was free show - Eurasian dude and Chinese girl smooching at the table beside us. It was totally obvious and they did it for a pretty long time, like the whole while their friend went to the toilet. I think there was tongue. Nope his hands didn't grope her breasts don't worry, I think tongue was all. Anyway the three chalets we booked were very clean already cause my aunts apparently brought mops and brooms to clean them up in the afternoon. Big thank you!

So I went there, ate biscuits (my favourite snack ever, ended up finishing the whole container that night) and then played Cashflow with WT, YX, my brother and 三姨丈. Was our first time playing so I learnt alot about financial stuff and the terms. Seriously a very nice game, but cause first time so we were super slow and lousy.

Ended up sleeping at around 2-3am, cause one round of game only has to take at least a few hours. Woke up on the second day at noon, went to rent bikes (full day) with my cousins WT and YC, and my brother. Cycled around ECP but YC's tyre ran out of air so we had to go back to pump it, then cycled to Burger King for lunch. My brother was as usual, super greedy and ordered doubles but he couldn't finish it in the end as expected. I pwn him. Afterwards we went to the beach, suckiest beach ever, sand is super unfine, and I got a cut on my feet. Still I was as amazed by the waves as ever; have always been.

And then WT, YC, YZ and I rode all the way to Changi Beach Park, about 10km from this beach to that. Ass hurted abit but not as much as WT said hers did, and I think cycling is the most effortless exercise ever. Like you chiong for the shiokness and you totally don't pant at all. It was fun by the way, and the scenery at some points were really nice.

Yup PCN pit stop! End of the route, quite accomplishing too. We didn't linger around for very long cause the sky was darkening already, infact very dark we were sure that it would rain even before we were halfway back. Decided to chiong all the way without stopping, it was like racing with the rain. I was very mean and pangseh-ed them and went ahead first, because feeling the wind against your face is seriously very, very nice.

BBQ already started when we arrived back, ate alot and BBQ-ed a little too. Somehow the heat from the fire wasn't as hot so I dared to do it, despite my fear of the fire. At around 8 the chalet beside us had some transexual performance going on (with quite a few performers and emcee somemore) which got YC very excited apparently. Is it even legal in Singapore.

And then Cashflow again. Because this time everyone was more experienced, it got really heated up. Pretty much. We started playing at around 8.30, and played for a total of about 6 hour. At slightly past 12 we went crazy - laughed, got pissed off to the max, laugh again till we wanted to pee, and got pissed off again. It was madness I think especially for me cause my face went red to the max and I had to resort to pacing around the room. If not I'll just smack the table or something idk why I got so agitated either. It was really chaotic though trust me, you won't know cause you're not playing it. But it was really chaotic with everybody talking at the same time flinging different financial terms all around LOL.

Yeah that's about all, day three absolutely nothing at all except that it rained. Okay good night I'm seriously damn paranoid now thanks to the Orphan poster picture. Tonight I can't sleep thanks to her stupid hypnotic gaze. Heck DMTH I don't even care about it anymore what the hell that movie poster can freak me out so much more than the whole movie of DMTH did. What the hell can't stand it okay bye I have the freaking image etched in my mind now I can't sleep tonight okay BYE.

And I hate you stop scaring me.
