She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

the dreams in which i'm dying are the best i ever had.
Finished "Angels and Demons" today. Shouldn't have watched the movie first, really shouldn't shouldn't shouldn't have, so bloody stupid of me. Who knows how much more I would have enjoyed the book? The twists (there were so many) at the end were completely unexpected, shocking and beautifully crafted, yet I knew everything already. Seriously now I dare say the movie isn't that good but movies are never better than novels anyway, especially when you're trying to convey ideas and plot. So I really shouldn't compare movies with novels in future. Still there are certainly scenes that kept me on the edge of my seat, and the cinematography is awesome - the sculptures and churches.. Wow.I'm still regretting it now, especially after how people are saying that Angels and Demons is better than Da Vinci Code, what a wasted opportunity for a good read. Still it was captivating nevertheless, took every free time in between to read as much of it as possible. Author didn't drag much of anything so I didn't get lost or bored anywhere, like there's always something fresh that comes up when you least expected it, especially the last part which blew me away entirely because Dan Brown really wrote it like a lunatic so I became quite insane and agitated too. Second regret is that I should have read it in one shot, moreover the book spans mostly just 24 hours only. Love the book love it love it love it love it love it. I have this obsession that whenever I put down the book in between or after I finally finish reading the book, I have to keep recapping and recalling the storyline of what I have read again and again and again in my mind. I think it's because I can't stand forgetting details in the book or leaving out a certain point, especially when I'm in the middle of it. It's a very annoying habit and it pisses me off most of the time. Yeah and this is the next book I'm going to read, a break before I move on to Da Vinci. However though I read the blurb of Da Vinci and it says Langdon (the protagonist) is working with this French woman whatshername, yet in A&D he ended up having sex with the Italian woman Vittoria he was working with! So was it a one night stand?! Omg irritating. ![]() The Boy in Striped Pajamas! It's not thick, no small words, infact the whole look of it seems to be like a book for a nine to ten-year-old. Yet I've a good feeling about it and I know there's definitely potential despite it's simplicity. Apparently the author wrote it in two and the half days and barely slept until he got to the end. This was the blurb of the book: "If you start to read this book, you will go on a journey with a nine-year-old boy named Bruno. (Though this isn't a book for nine-year-olds.) And sooner or later you will arrive with Bruno at a fence. Fences like this exist all over the world. We hope you never have to encounter one." A little too vague so I wiki-ed it a little and found out that it was related to the whole Jews-and-Nazis thing. Didn't read the summary cause it would spoil the whole thing. Yeah should be able to finish pretty fast. Nothing much today so I shall head straight to tag replies. Beginning part of CCA was epic!! Like once-in-a-lifetime experience haha damn cool Phantom of the Opera. -_- Cause you don't really understand, do you? We're just not quite the same. - |
