She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.

Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol.

She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for.

She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism.

She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship.

Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours.

Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all.

“Forevers” are bullshit as of now.

The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too.

She is always torn between two.

But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.

with ivory skin and eyes of emerald green.

American Idol was shocking. Adam Lambert, bottom three?! Now I didn't expect that, but it's okay cause in the end he will still win anyway. I'm so glad Danny and Allison were safe though, and that Matt Giraud is out! So now I have my predicted top 4, but top 3, I really don't know. Even though I'm not exactly a huge fan of Lambert or anything, I still look forward to his performances cause sometimes they can be incredibly unexpected. Yup. Semi-finals next week!

But, oh shucks. Have a look:

Week 6:
Chinese block test
History SIA deadline
Geography SIA deadline
Home econs coursework deadline (or was it last week?)
Some sort of test on Saturday

Week 7:
Sec one's play
2.4km run
Math block test
Physics quiz
History quiz
Geography quiz
Culture "project" deadline
LA SIA deadline
Finish up IvP
CME booklet deadline
Theory exam on Saturday

Week 8:
Napfa 5 stations
LA SIA oral presentation
Chinese SIA deadline
Math SIA deadline
Music project deadline
Drama assessment deadline
Culture test

Felt a need to remind myself of all the things that needs to be done and cleared within two weeks... Throw in homework and other miscellaneous stuff like piano, ballet lessons too. Oh well, I remember telling my mortal at the end of Term 1 that Term 2 will be crazily fast and hectic and it's true. AHHH OMG Week 6 is over already and it's 1st of May today!! I mean, it's 1.33am. 4 more weeks to June holidays - but wait, June hols will most likely be taken up for FOA rehearsals. Bye June!! Bye!!!

I don't think I should complain too much cause the upper levels have it worse. Despite the above, however, I still think that my sec 2 life so far has been rather manageable and happy. And very fast. At least it was better than sec 1 which I don't have any recollection of projects or SIAs I did, cause all I remember is slacking, procrastinating, and slacking again. I still procrastinate now though, but it's better cause at least I don't chiong my homework out the day it's supposed to be handed up or copy the entire worksheet that kind of thing.

Just to ask because I really can't remember, was there even ^ that much shit in sec one?

Was just discussing about those with SC and Ellen after school and we decided that we'd rather do SIAs than all the crappy music, home econs, CME projects whatever. It's so useless and pointless and though it's supposed to be fun it is not. To us it's just extra, time-consuming projects that do not benefit us in one way or another - at least SIAs do.

And it's absurd! Compose full a song with lyrics and melody within 2-3 music lessons, do the whole drama thing within two weeks, etc. Drama thing = memorizing of script (4 pages only though), character biography, motivation of each line, set layout, prompts (actions), lighting cues, sound cues. I think I would have enjoyed the drama thing a whole lot better if we were given more time, like much more than the unreasonable two weeks, thanks.

Gosh I don't know where to start cause it's like every subject has a project due within week 6-8. Thus, I shall continue with my entry.

Had the audi to run through lighting cues during lunch period today. Now this one is equally rushed cause I just chionged out all the cues on word document at 12am last night after touching the lighting console for the second time yesterday. I guess there will always be a first time for everything, but I can't stand my inexperienceness, can't stand it can't stand it can't stand it. It's dangerous and scary because the next time we're using audi again is on performance day itself, and I seriously don't want to screw things up for the juns.

He says they are ready to go up, but I don't think so. He has never even watched them properly, there's so much brushing up to be done, we've barely even worked on their voice projection and emoting. He even cancelled CCA today and didn't want one on Saturday, but I didn't feel like saying anything about it. I don't feel like saying anything to them anymore either, I mean they are performing for their own level, it's their own face they're talking about. I don't know how much effort they are going to put in from now till Tuesday, I don't want to be overly strict on them or anything cause I'm only sec two, and I don't want them to end up ultimately hating me or whatever. I just want us to be good, that's all.

Haha oh no I don't feel like blogging anymore. Something very important to say though - cheer up Jiaying! Forget about today, try harder, do better, go faster. We're all behind you. ♥
