She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

TGIF! Freaking tired. Got home past 10 today and Monday, after 8 on Tuesday and Thursday, and earliest I arrived home was 530 on Wednesday. Tired! But fulfilling in a way or another, I like the feeling of being busy.And like what Ellen said, class has been pretty funny these days, I laughed so hard during science today that my stomache hurt really badly. HilaryLau again! So we had to read aloud some notes thing going by register number, so HilaryLau was number 7 so beforehand we were reading for fun together with the cheena/indian accent. When it was her turn I totally did not expected her to read aloud with THAT accent, which made the whole class laugh really loudly including Ms Ye.
After the laughing died down she STILL continued reading with that retarded accent which made us all laugh even harder! Since I didn't have my theatre jacket with me I was covering my face with the science notes and laughing into it while splitting my sides. You should have been there. And I got my chocolate from Ms Ye today, hooray!
Yah and this one happened on Wednesday. So AmyL was telling us about this dream she had of JiaLe (class laughs really loudly and finally pays attention) who suddenly was damn pro at shooting (AmyL's in charge of shooting club). Then JiaLe explained that swimming helped her in her shooting skills (no link) and AmyL said in the dream JiaLe's name was actually Sandra (no link again). Stupid okay! Imagine appearing in AmyL's dreams..
Btw I love HilaryLau's blog. She can remember like every funny thing that happened in class okay! Iffera's too but she seldom updates..
So yup thank goodness I have such a lovely class (generally) in spite of all SIAs (which stands for Student Inititated Assessment which the teachers initiated) which are pouring in already, project works, theatre stuff, LSC's night trail which I'm vice-chairing and working with LingAn (yay!), and such.
But my class can be pretty mean too. Like how we bullied our culture teacher today.. Thinking about it makes me feel really really guilty. Next next week I shall be a good girl to redeem our evil deeds. Quoting one whole entire chunk from Iffera's blog:

Today-
The teacher's pronounciation wasn't very good. And his eyes were really beady, you know, like they stare cold and straight into you.

Everyone: *deep silence
The reason we kept quiet was because everyone felt he was funny and we were all like containing our laughter.
Melissa: [high-pitched]hee...hee...
Everyone: Ahahahahaha......
Teacher: [looks around, unable to figure out what was going on]
Even 吴老师 was laughing. (she was sitting at the back, looking down at our worksheets, and trying to stifle her laughter which was so obvious cause her shoulders were shrugging terribly.)
Xinyi wanted to test him if he knew the meaning of some English words because he told us that the English words he knew might be lesser than us. (not sure if he did)
Xinyi: What is lynching?
Teacher:什么？
Xinyi: Lynching
Teacher:这个在课文吗？[looks at paper]这个不在课文嘛。这是不是那些美国人对待那些黑人的那个[makes a hanging gesture]
Everyone: *too stunned to speak*
(and then we suddenly erupted into murmurs of "he knows! he knows! omg cant believe it!" which was totally obvious that we were underestimating him. Shichun said he looked a little teary..shit)

Teacher: 上课时不能吃东西。
Klara was eating a sweet at the time and the teacher was like referring to her. So she looked up at him and instinctively went:
“Um...."[puts elbow on top of sweet wrapper]".....ya?"
Everyone: Ahahahahaha......KLARA!
Seriously, this happened a minute before the bell rang and rounded up our culture lesson nicely."
In addition to that I was got obsessed with Hilary's date-stamp during culture, so she helped me change the date to 06 Sept 2009 and I start chopping it all over my hand. Apparently the teacher thought I was counting down to the time lesson ends, I don't see the link here, or maybe I was doing it very "rhythmatically". This is how my hand ended up, blue:
It's not really clear though but it was completely spammed with "06 Sept 2009". The one on the right is the two Hershey Kisses chocolates I got from Ms Ye and the sweet is the one I kept spamming for the whole of today. Thank you WanLi! x3
And our history teacher felt really bad today cause she kept confusing us. Can understand lah cause she's nineteen and is our relief teacher for the first half of the year until she gets her A level results. She's really nice and sweet (and she allowed me to eat candies in class when I asked her), but not as fun as Miss Tan.
Theatre! New juniors, including Clarissa (who's my second cousin's fiance's cousin so i shall be nice) and her friend KiaYee, and two 103 girls who finally got to appeal this morning (after going to Mr Ng persistently everyday). Yeah the juniors seem to be nice people - my batchmates working with them on Marigolds agree too - except for one who's probably a little too disrespectful/superstar-ish. Won't say much cause it's the first CCA session so maybe opinions change.. Doubtful though.
Mr Ng said that scripting might have to work overtime after this week cause submission of script is early Feb. Hooray~
