She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Okay CNY hahaha.Saturday (24 Jan) was reunion dinner with maternal side of family at CCK Stadium's Guilin Restaurant, which turned out to be super fun and everyone was very high~! So we spam took pictures in the restaurant, noisy also nevermind cause we were the last few people there already. Really enjoyable, I love the annual reunion dinner. (:

Then at the carpark. WE GOT LIKE 4 TRAFFIC TICKETS TO START OFF THE WHOLE YEAR. Wonderful!
Yeah my blog is very lag now HAHA.
For Sunday I spent it doing last-minute spring cleaning. -.- At night was steamboat dinner with my family and grandparents.
Then the next day was CNY! I woke up at 12 lol. Cause I was doing homework until 4am the previous day.
Firstly bainian to my parents as usual.
& took alot of pictures.
Then as usual again went to my parents' office cause my mum wanted to shao xiang. And my dad wanted to do some stuff like check emails.. Working on CNY..
& we moved on to my maternal grandmother's house at like 3+pm, so my cousins were already playing mahjong there. Had to "walk one round", since my second cousins had their grandparents living along the same stretch of corridor.. Blk 2 Storey 9 alone had 3 big families so fortunately we didn't have to drive around and stuff.
& my first cousins had to bainian to my parents too. LOL.
This is my best friend. My no. 1 addiction for CNY. x3
After that we went to the temple to pray! As usual.
We also decided on watching "Red Cliff 2" midnight show that night, so went to book tickets with the computer at my cousin's house. Ended up with Jurong Point, 1.10am. Caught Nyonya (Reunion) at 7, then went home to bathe, and went back to my grandmother's house again. My cousin brought the "Red Cliff" DVD so we watched it there and went to the movie theatre at 12.30.
12 of us went altogether and the movie ended around 3.30 but we weren't tired at all because the movie was like totally awesome. My cousin said this movie is like the hot topic in China now. One of my favourite movies yay! Firstly cause I like the genre, secondly I like the story, and thirdly it was just really good!! A bit of humour, some parts were really touching, and all the parts kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning till end. Except for maybe the final fighting scene cause it was wayyyy too long. &金城武 ftw!! :D
I want a ChiBi 3!!!
At 3.30am we decided on where to go for supper/breakfast, which took pretty long to decide.
Lol stoning. In the end we went to eat roti prata/noodles and arrived home at 5.30am..
This is seriously the best part of CNY'09 okay!! 初一的夜晚. o.O
Tuesday I woke up at 1pm. -.- Paternal side cousins came over.
Then went to two of the one-year-meet-one-time places to bainian.
Triplets!! I like the boy very adorable hehe.
Basically I was reading TKAM for the whole day. And spam eating cause I wasn't that close to my paternal side cousins. Around dinnertime we went back to our maternal side again, they watched the 9pm show while SX and I chionged homework. Rahh. ):
Okay that's like all. A summary of how a typical CNY goes which isn't exactly all that bad esp for the first day. :D
