She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

TCN camp!
CCA CAMP ROCKED.Tiring of course, but still fun! As expected it bonded us quite alot one way or another. My favourite activity was the amazing race which I didn't really look forward to at first, cause when night came I felt seriously drained from the day rehearsals already. Unexpectedly it was super awesome and the sec threes did a great job. (:
Day One
Clean-up was first as usual, Shumin and I were fighting to sweep for some candy wrapper thing. This is weird but I'm wondering if there is anyone else likes to sweep floors, see the amount of dust collected in the dust pan and then feel a sense of satisfaction. Well, Shuhui and I do.
If you count carefully there are only seven brooms. Why? Apparently SOME very nice batchmate decided to pangseh us and go to Thailand to shop. Very nice of her, very nice indeed! Although I can't help but envy her, and yes I know my wardrobe is going to 暴 already.
Yup first day was mainly all the rehearsals, it was quite sian cause we just weren't in the mood yet.. And didn't quite get Mr Ng cause he wanted something different from the typical Little Prince yet not abstract/fragmented. And then we were all still quite affected by Scarlet so it was rather you know, tough.
AND THEN THERE WAS THE "TRUST FALL" WHICH DEAR MELISSA DID, which she fell and hit her head, which was so scary cause the height she fell from wasn't very low. I cringe thinking about it, ugh.
Lunch, look at the amount of veggie me and Daph generously donated to Nicole.
After lunch we made puppet to adapt with the script we came up in the morning, so my group (steph, jinjin, yijing, amandaong, hyolim, shiyun) had to design and make a fox. It ended up being extremely flimsy and breakable though, and it totally died on the last day. RIP.

VERY CUTE RIGHT!! Although it has got like ano arms and legs lmfao.
We spent hours on that, stuffing newspapers, hot-glueing, masking-taping, sewing. Oh yah YM totally cut Cheryl's FRINGE and unhooked my BRA STRAP (yes wtf i know), but then again I did the same thing to Cheryl. XD So it was there that YM and I started gaying each other. -.- She is just as sick.
Finally had dinner which I remembered to be the worst meal of the camp. Yah then we went to bathe and my group had toilet duty, which means sitting down there and timing people and cleaning up after that.
Yes my emobatch loves to zilian.

It was there that we started screaming, and continued screaming throughout the Amazing Race. It was SO freaky cause the school was quite dark already. Despite that, Group 2 pwned seriously, cause we won like every single game - there were five! High five to Amanda See, Teresa, Daphne and Yijing. x]

First was the tag-finding game in some garden-y place. Lizards and snails, -screams-, Teresa rocked by finding 6 of the tags. Altogether we had around 12? Second one was finding Mulan/Duael alphabets on A4 size papers plastered around at the first level and Yijing rocked on this one. Next we had to summon two team members to find ice-cream sticks in a dark classroom, and that one was really crazy. The sec 3s hid them really well so we had to climb around everywhere and yes I mean EVERYWHERE and it was so hilarious. And dangerous.
Fourth one was the funnest - kidnap game. We had to guess the game was AND to find the person so it was quite hard, but fortunately we realized Daphne was missing pretty fast. And it was this game that we screamed the most cause we kept going into creepy places to find her. We screamed for everything,

Found Daph at some stairwell and I don't really know what happened between Amanda and Teresa, but they starting screaming their heads off and.. Well the rest of us followed suit. =X
Fifth game was some fill-in-the-blanks thing and we were given excerpts from Scarlet, Mercury and Chilli Crab and so we were hysterically scribbling away. Haha and then debrief, documenting, and we were done for the day.
Slept while listening to Elvis Presley. ♥
Day Two
& they woke up to my annoying "GIRLFRIEND" alarm.
The tallest hill in Singapore! Yes it sounds really tall but fact is that it's super noob, 163.3 METRES. LMFAO. The steep parts were rather energy-consuming though, climbed it despite my ankle. x]
Club breakfast. (:
Well we saw this family shaking their butts as morning exercise and everyone started laughing.. And then we played Murderer, super fun too! Good for club-bonding haha. Oh yes AMANDA ONG IS A SUPER GOOD MURDERER AND JINJIN IS A SUPER GOOD DOCTOR. Omfg. Yes Mr Ng's version of the game was so fun, cause we got to 陷害 alot of people too.

Eiffel trying to decide who's the murderer. Fortunately she chose the right one.. If not she'll be guilt-ridden for life for condemning the person who saved her lmfao.

Yeah then it was back to school, more rehearsals.

Heh we bathed, and then watched a korean movie (100 DAYS WITH MR ARROGANT) + a play Mr Ng directed a few years ago. The korean movie was quite sick LOL but disgustingly and stupidly funny as well. The play was super abstract (he said it's probably the most abstract one he has done), I didn't understand most of it but I have to say the actors' energy and skills were incredible. The last 1/3 freaked us out quite alot cause it was totally psycho and creepy.

Played murderer again after lights out, and got chased to sleep by the sec 4s. Slept listening to Bryan Adams. (:
Day Three

Yah it was morning run, breakfast, rehearsal and touch rugby. Hohoho my name is Shirley Tay (inside joke xD).
Inititally we started with tag rugby but then decided that it was too boring. Cause you tap and the person has to drop the ball. -.- So we changed to it touch rugby WHICH WAS REALLY FUN ZOMG. Everyone was hell bent on attacking/slamming people down/pulling people off so we were like a bunch of mad people going after a ball. You know how freaking scary it is when you are running with the ball and like twenty people just charge towards you in all directions and push you to the ground.
YES I WANT MORE TOUCH RUGBY OMG. THE SLAMMING PEOPLE DOWN/PULLING PEOPLE OFF WAS THE BEST PART.
Haha then clean-up, debrief plus some montage thing (thanks yingci for the photographing!) and home sweet home. x]
Well not exactly cause my parents had to drag me to some useless spine thing again. 99.987654321% it's useless and I shall get proved right on 8th Jan which is my spine check-up day. Annoying.

Yah that's all. I shall chiong to sleep now cause I'm going to discovery centre with my cousins tomorrow (free tix!). I haven't been there in years I think.
