She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

102, choral&drama nite (2)
AHH THE WEEK IS OVER!Today's crewing was so-so and it was super tiring because I rarely had a break for the entire day, considering that there's piano lesson chucked in between. There was some uh. Major-yet-minor screwup at the beginning (yeah its those kind only backstage people know) but still it was totally disheartening and demoralizing we were on the verge of tears. Apart from that all else me and Hyo Lim managed at stage right was fine.
& I can't stand bimbos with that superstar attitude. There was this particular class all of us were so pissed off with. Ugh.
Yesterday
It was really not bad on the whole. (:
Or, awesome for my class at least. :D
One thing I've learnt from C&D'08 is that girls all like to be pretty. At first everyone was going ewww at the makeup and all and the next thing you know, one person starts putting mascara (which is like, optional) and the rest follows. One person starts zilian-ing the rest follows too, even really unexpected people.
Reached school at 8am, there was a briefing and then full-dress rehearsal. Actually most people already started to panic during the full-dress, partially because my classmates were scared that Mr Ng would scream something like, "YOU GOT TO BE LOUDER, THE AUDIENCE CANNOT HEAR YOU." Front few classes all kena screamed but we didn't so everyone was like omgxzxz yay!
We watched abit and that was when I decided on my idol and my favourite play which was by 210A!! It was so good can, 102 must be like that next year hahaha. I was surprised by how un-fake the killing scene was (cause people usually laugh, yes) and it spurred alot of "ughhh" and "omg!" from the night audience. Go Jamie. :D

Me, Shichun, Jiaying, Wanli, Ellen and Jiale left the school before the rehearsal ended lol then kena call back while we were on the bus. And then we decided not to go back since quite a number of people already went off too. Went to Bugis first and had lunch at Pastamania, we were like so kuku. Didn't know how to order, didn't know where to sit and yada.

Bugis street to get a jeanskirt, JY gave in to temptation and bought a really sweet tube top. On our way out we were like, "dontlookdontlookdontlook." Must control. Wants =/= Needs. T-T
Quantum of Solace at Plaza Sing at 2.25. $6 fly away. Why? Cause I slept during the trailer AND ENDED UP SLEEPING ALMOST THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE THING. At regular intervals I would wake up and be like, "Wanli, what happen just now?"
Standard answer, "Fighting lor."
And on the bus ride back to school we spent it discussing the movie, with me trying to piece what they were saying to no avail. Infact there wasn't even a conclusion when we reached school except that JAMES BOND = GOOD GUY & GREENE = BAD GUY. I tried reading the synopsis but I still can't understand it. Highfive Shichun. ):

Back to school already all 30 of us crammed into this tiny dressing room on the second level and started with the makeup (and the zilian-ing). It was horrendously smelly cause the toilet door was like open. Ugh.
And then there was the briefing again. We were like the second last class to perform, after interval somemore, and 102B was just before ours so we had hours to continue zilian-ing, which we did.

Zilian enough already we rehearsed one final time and everyone was like so high already! We really wanted it to go very well so we didn't really mind how ridiculous we looked on stage because the funnier the better. Took the last chance to coordinate ourselves properly and tried to make it better and it was kinda sad cause we were always like so yaya about it. =X
Still had 20 minutes back at the dressing room, and then I prank call LOL. There was one which went pretty well (i used the idea the seniors did on monday) and then after I hang up everyone started clapping for me. Like, imagine condoms + waterbras collaboration. xP
Was only at backstage standing by then I "realized" it wasn't another rehearsal anymore when the audience started laughing at 102B's performance (that's the reaction we wanted lah). I was "zomg." Imagine how anxious and frightened we were okay, even though Regine says she bet I ain't but that isn't true. Like who doesn't get butterflies before every performance dude!
Heee everyone was being so quiet and praying and praying. ._.
I enjoyed the performance! 8 minutes never seemed so short and I don't think there were really any screw-ups? Each time the audience laughed it got more encouraging so the energy level constantly got higher. Ahaha I wanted to laugh when I saw my seniors in the crowd cause I was in a really hmm, awkward position. ):
