She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.

Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol.

She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for.

She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism.

She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship.

Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours.

Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all.

“Forevers” are bullshit as of now.

The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too.

She is always torn between two.

But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.

OLYMPICS~! (& Men's basketball USA vs China)

Size of Yao Ming:Size of Basketball = Size of Yan Ying:Size of Tennis ball.

Olympics addiction is killing me. Been watching it from 1-5pm and 7-2am just now, a total of, say, 11 hours? Don't need go school liao, pon two weeks, can de lah. :D

Except that I won't cause there's Theatre everyday, considering that there's ELEVEN more days to SCARLET. Oh sweet lord. T-T It's probably good that Beijing Olympics clashes with Scarlet, or I'll just dao all my homework and be a total couch potato. =0

Below rantings all pertaining to Olympics. Can skip. :]

From 1-5 I watched Boxing: Men's Light Welter (64kg) between China and Russia, Diving:Women's Sync. 3m Springboard Final and Weightlifting: Women's 53kg Group A. China got pwned for the first one, China owned for the second one, and Thailand kicked ass at third one.

Boxing match was funny cause we were laughing about how skinny and uncontrollable the China amateur was. Obviously no match for the experienced Russian, hence the 15:8.

Sync diving was uber cool. Alot of comments made on that one, and the way they go down is just pretty pretty. The China divers were really elegant and their legs weren't as "muscularly" scary as some of the others. And they were super synchro too. :] Russia came in silver which was deserving as well.

Then the weight-lifting lol. Totally funny that one, I think it's the most comical sport. Ever realized how short and stubby they all are, and hell, look at their faces when they lift the weights. ._. My brother absolutely loves imitating them (with a cushion -.-).

Some long-namer from Thailand (okay JAROENRATTANATARAKOON P. -.-) got the gold medal, didn't really get to watch till there cause I went swimming. Anyway up till the point I watched until, Melanie Roach from USA and Nastassia Novikava from some ulu country were damn good, and I thought Yoon Jinhee who came in silver was really action. ._. I don't like action people. ._.

Weightlifting is one of my favourites to watch cause I keep squealing and squealing with excitement in the process of them lifting it with a "YES!" to go along if it was a success. And don't you just feel the pain in your spine when you watch them do it. T-T

Hahahah then I went swimming! :D
Haven't been swimming for three weeks, fortunately haven't lost stamina. Did the usual 50 laps with the neck/shoulder pain to go along with it, and I thought I was gonna die after. Rahh I want it to go away soon, or I'll have terrible school days. T-T

My mum's friend's son from Singapore Sports School went swimming too today. He is P6 and his freestyle is totally imba, I just stunned there when I watched him swim okay. I wanna be as good as that.:D

Haha then slacked around the poolside with my relatives, I still think WeiYing and Brian are super super adorable! Headed home to have dinner, and then it was the olympics again. Fortunately for me there was swimming!!

1st star of today was Michael Phelps as usual, for the Men's 400m Individual Medley Final, beating his previous world record by a second plus, and his olympic record set yesterday by almost four seconds. I think very soon I'm gonna fall in love with him, or something :D

And for that race Cseh Laszlo was second and fellow American Lochte Ryan was third. :]

Gold medal for Korea's Park Taehwan in Men's 400m Freestyle Final, idrc about that though. :D

Aussie's Stephanie Rice beat Katie Hoff's (she got a bronze this time) previous world record by around 2 seconds for Women's 400m Individual Medley Final. Silver was Kirsty Coventry and the only reason I remembered her was because of the fact that her country is Zimbabwe. -.- And isn't that like, the smallest currency or smth lol. ;D

And Women's 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay Final got owned by Netherlands, shortly followed by USA then Australia. :D

Rawwrr swimming, I can't wait for Tao Li. :D Btw on her profile picture she kind of looks like Olinda Cho LOL.

Then I took, say, half an hour break and it was?

Men's Basketball, USA vs CHINA~!

I am very likely going to get smacked by mama for blogging at this hour, but whatever. ;D

Six words, CHINA CAN GO FLY A KITE. Trashed by USA 101-70, and it was obvious that for the last 5 minutes USA was just slacking around, waiting for time to past. And the last 10 seconds everyone was just like strolling in the park, last 5 seconds two of them shook hands. ._.

Before the last quarter when USA was at 84 my second uncle was like already saying, "Haiya USA confirm three digits already, can't buy 4D liao." ._.

Throughout the whole thing my father and uncle kept saying "Wang ZhiZhi" lol. And China got some really nice names including Zhang JJ from Archery and Long QQ (super nice!) from Weightlifting.

Favourite players from China would obviously be Yao Ming (though he's very buay song throughout the last two quarters), Sun Yue and Yi JianLan. Though we kept laughing when Yao Ming (who can always put his hand over the basketball net and flick the ball away) fell down hahaha, dunno why. -.- And China anyhow play, alot of fouls. -.-

From USA Kobe Bryant, Wade Dwyane and James Lebrone! Hahahah I think they all look alike and they are totally totally pro lah. Their slam dunks were damn style. ;DD

Anyway it was damn obvious that USA won because of their imba rebounds, foul shots and SLAM DUNKS. China only good at three-pointer lol, and they can't possibly slam dunk cause most of them damn small size, USA ones super muscular, so can't get through them. O.O

What I love most about basketball games are slam dunks, rebounds and three-pointers. Typically. xD

Haha and a difference between basketball games and football games, basketball games keep you more awake cause the counters keep jumping, whereas football games are totally stagnant but you go totally O.O when the ball comes close to the goal post. Yeapp. :]

Anyway this basketball game was super nice, widely watched of course. I'd say I'm damn lucky to watch it Live while others can only watch at 12am on Channel U. xD Like Jonathan. xD Who ****-ed me cause of that. xD

Hmm anyway we ordered Mac delivery halfway through the match LOL. Then somehow my mum and bro (esp this boy) totally lost concentration on the match and focused totally on the Mac. -.- WTH LOL.

Hahaha yah. Squealed alot for this one, haven't been squealing so much over sport games before as today. -.-

Mm after that we watched a combination of Archery: Women's Team Gold Medal Match (Korea pwned China), Artistic Gymnastic (which was beautiful), and Weightlifting: Men's 56kg, as well as the overall news for today. Long Qing Quan rocks!! HE IS SO CUTE AND COMICAL. :D And look at the way he carries the weight hahahah. =P

Haha that's about it. I shall try to rid off my olympic addiction, which was so bad that I can run up the stairs halfway to my room and then run back down again screaming, "THE ARCHERY FINALS HAVEN'T END!!" to my brother in the living room, at 1.30am. -.-

Yay I shall really go sleep now (it is 3:43 am -.-), or I can't wake up for CCA CIP tmr. Will be a long day as there's CCA from 2-6. I shall find some time in between to get my handphone repaired. :]
