She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. Bf sent for repair + Where Rainbows End + Tag replies
Firstly, I wanna thank lovely lovely Xinyi for lending me her PE T-shirt today! She is such a sweetie. (:Haha maybe S-size PE shirts fit better because they ain't longer than my FBTs so I don't look "obscene" today. xD
Secondly!
Boyfriend will be going away for a few days. Which is really sad, because I will have to return to my ex for awhile. He is nowhere near as "educated" as Boyfriend, but the three years spent with him was really unforgettable I must say. He never betrayed or dumped me once, never argued or fell out with me, has always been giving in to me from the very start, and of course I'm really touched. He has been doing very well even up till now, still not showing any signs of faltering after so many years.
And even after I heartlessly dumped him he is willing to be my spare tyre. How do you find an ex-boyfriend as good as that, you tell me?
But of course, it is only natural for us to need a change. Though Boyfriend has been really problematic so far, breaking my heart time and again, I still love him because...Well, love is unexplainable. (:
Unfortunately, he has been irritating me exceptionally much these days, so I don't really have a choice.
Sent Boyfriend to Wisma for repair today after CCA. Will only be getting him back on Thursday, oh well..

Thirdly, I just completed "Where Rainbows End" by Cecelia Ahern today. Already the first thing that drew me to the book was its title and cover page. Awesome. x)
I won't really do a detailed review on this book because it is so uniquely crafted and original that I don't know what to say about it. I'm not making up any excuses - the storyline is so easy to get, yet so complicated, and typing the entire storyline out would take ages.
From the surface, it was already different from other books seeing how the storyline is brought to the reader through emails and chatrooms (except the epilogue that is). I first saw it at Kinokuniya last December holidays, but I didn't buy it exactly because of the fact that it was written in the email and chatroom form because I thought it would be like any other teenage-girls-go-freaking-out books which I absolutely hate.
But well, you never know. This book is actually pretty far from it. I thought it was a rather interesting way to write a book, and a challenging one at that. I can't do it. Trust me it's really really hard to write a good book in that format. Without surprise, Ahern's was a success of course.
This book spans around fifty years and it mainly revolves around the main character Alex Stewart and the main main character Rosie Dunne. Most of it is pertinent to Rosie's life, but Alex plays a very huge part in it.
I won't talk about the storyline or how the story goes about, because as I said, it is like a life story so I think you better read the book personally.
Basically it is a heartwarming and bittersweet tale of love and friendship, and it evidently combines both fun and humour with sadness and regret. It talks about fate and how true love never dies, yet it isn't exactly the mushy kind of thing. Which I'm not very fond of as well. Love in this sense is really just the...

Lol but this story is really very amazing. The lost-for-words kind of amazing. ^^
Well since I'm lost for words, I shall just quote something which I wholeheartedly agree with then.
"A deeply touching story full of 'maybe's and 'what if's...A page-turner that makes you evaluate your own life, and urges you to do the things that you really want to, and live life to the full.' - Woman's Way.
To add on to that, "And to live your dreams."
And I think the ending is just gorgeous. Very beautiful and touching.
I think my next book's gonna be "A Walk to Remember" by Nicholas Sparks. (:

Not much to blog about today lah. Sabbat is damn boring. Nothing to do but sit down there and slack. It is really lame crap. We are not 5 year olds.
Luckily I chose storytelling, though. As I said, there is nothing else for us to do but sit down there and slack, so basically me, Jolyn and Shu Min had the chance to chiong our Language Arts Draft 1 which had to be handed up by 11am.
Well, we were all chionging the summary. In the morning I already chionged the cancellation of words for the SIA story cause I had 216 words left from last night. I started off with having to cancel around 800+ words, which was 1/3 of the entire draft. There was this whole pointless chunk of words so they were all deleted, and then I was left with around 2100 words to fuss about.
As in seriously. -.-
I was so stressed until I was on the verge of tears. -.-
1500 for maximum is crazy.
As JJ said, cancelling words are the hardest part. I think it's even harder than writing the story.
Because as Shichun said, we are very 不舍得. Which I completely and absolutely agree. It was alot of blood and effort put into every single paragraph okay. T.T My whole 102 agrees with me. T.T
Rahh. Now I think that my story is totally lacking emotions and descriptions. It's a level lower already. In other words, it sucks.
Maybe next time I shall not write long blog entries. Honestly I don't even know they are long until I posted them up and scroll down and WOW.
Malay culture appreciation was crap. Basically I was sleeping.
And btw I hate hanrui. He ponned school today. Asshole.

After that I had to go see some teacher cause she wanted me to do some video thing tomorrow. All I did was woke up at the last section and guai lan the two malay zha bors, and they thought I was enthusiastic and outspoken and participative.
Omfg.
Now I have to read up a bit on the Sultan Mosque and the Malay Heritage Centre and Arab Street. And I have to pen down my reflections on what I see and how I feel about this "learning" trip even though I haven't exactly been there yet.
Oh this is great.
Now I get to be hypocritical.

[Good gracious I just told Shuin Kang off for drinking coffee "at this age". Actually he's only Primary 5 and I don't drink coffee when I was in Primary 5.
Anyway, digressing a little, I think I should be scared or something. Klara says that when she drinks coffee her heart rate goes very fast, and someone else told me the same thing a few days ago. And SK is now saying that his head hurts whenever he drinks coffee. And lovely Mrs Amy told us a few months ago that she has osteoporosis because she drank too much coffee.
And yet I don't feel anything! Either I am super woman or something is actually going on inside my body but I can't feel it.
Which is even scarier.]
After sabbats was Theatre, which I was late for thanks to that teacher. Thus, I did not run and thus, I can be sure that my stamina is crap now because the last time I ran was on last Tuesday and it was 900m.
I am so afraid to start running again. Dammit.
But fortunately I went swimming 30 x 50m yesterday and 50 x 25m on Sunday. I like swimming. ♥
Theatre today drove me insane. At the beginning where everyone else went mad it was still okay for me, but when everyone started to "recover" I got went bonkers.
I mean it, trying hearing the tick-tock sound (and it is fast. but not very fast.) and the sound of sirens for an hour.
I think Mr Ng is evidently trying to kill us.
