Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Scarlet's First Instalment + Grade 6 ballet + 2008 resolutions
Sometime it really surprises me how cruel and callous some people can be. I wonder how it is like to do things without considering the feelings of others, and not feel guilty at all.But that's kind of the way it goes isn't it? In this world, there will definitely be unrelenting bitches. It's not just this once I've seen things like that, but countless times. I've seen how girls can make each other cry with hurtful words and then get away smirking. Shocks me, really. I'm not saying that I'm a saint. There are times I hurt others too, but my conscience naturally tugs at me and make me apologize. Or sometimes it is that they need something, someone to slap them awake and tell them the unbiased truth, the wrong steps they are taking, and so you haven't a choice but to be straightforward. But that's a different case altogether, isn't it? Such power we have. Okay that's enough. Thou shalt not act goody-goody and attempt to change the world. Hmm lalala~ Yay had ballet like err 4 hours ago. Yay Grade 6 ballet is from the Romantic Era. Nowonder the songs so nice, dance-steps also. (: Today basically did barwork, splits, and train our ankles to get us ready for Pointe next year. Apparently Miss Wendy said that our ankles are too weak. =X I'm damn desperate to do a split. Both front and side also must can. ): Well it was stated in my 2008 resolutions anyway. I don't remember if I posted them up, but let's refresh them shall we. 1) Improve/Maintain my spine curvature 2) Pass 2.4km 3) Get at least 23 points for Napfa 4) Master Algebra 5) Write at least one potential story (as in in English -.-) 6) Read at least one Chinese book (not kiddish type) 7) Do a split 8) To pull up my standard in ballet, since it dropped so damned much in P6 9) Play Chopin’s Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 10) To stop slacking in front of my computer so much 11) To stop offending people so much/be much, MUCH more sensitive 12) To be more gentle and feminine 13) Steer clear of BGRs Actually right, 4 months past liao, and how many have I fulfilled? Actually I think only one. Tsk! I'm sucha loser! And yeah, 13 (unfulfilled) resolutions, for a 13 year-old. (: Haha anyway I like ballet cause my class got alot of zihigh people ranging from 11-13 years old. And we love to get high together and we always burst out laughing in the middle of the class especially while doing something really torturous like stomache exercises and splits. But the main reason why I like ballet (or rather dance) can't really be put into words. Like what Miss Wendy said, it's all about the feel. Feel it. Love it. Live it. Oh goodness hahaha. Hmm anyway not much to talk about these days. Today we ponned some lessons to go watch some badminton tournament between nygh and rgs, and nygh lost terribly. X.X In addition, we were "cheering" half RGS's volume even though we have twice as many supporters. LOL. Lalala~.. Oh and Scarlet's first instalment last Friday! I shall just say that most (or maybe all) of the theatrettes really enjoyed it lots, after the hard work and effort we've (okay maybe just the seniors) put in. From what I head, the turnout was more than what we had expected. Well anyway, after school was --> THEATRE! Usually sec 1s don't have much to do, but that day we were kept busy running little errands like fetching the ironing board from the drama stall to the classroom, getting black cloths, extention wires, iron costumes, etc. Well, I don't really know what kept going wrong but our sec 4 seniors were very pissed at us and scolded us quite a few times. =X Sorry.. Hmm.. Oh yah like two hours before the instalmet started, me and Nicole were already positioned in the classroom in our full black outfit, preparing to off and on the lights for a certain scene. Okay maybe not really PREPARED over there, more of slacking around with handphones and such. At one point of time Klara came in to chat chat abit then bring Chinese Chess to come in and play. Then at that time Cheryl came in as well and so they were "entertaining" us by playing that lol. At another point of time huiying came into charge the walkie talkies and test them out. Then I had to keep walking out of the classroom with the walkie talkies and talk long sentences and stuff. And since Cheryl (she was working on her physics then) was in the classroom, Nicole made me say CHERYLSUCKSCHERYLSUCKSCHERYLSUCKSCHERYLSUCKS and yes I really did say that LOL. Okay........... I think the whole thing went, hmm, rather okay la. Then after that the seniors popped champagne while emo-batch group-hugged again.. Yeah, it was quite an enriching experience I shall say. Don't really feel like blogging alot cause damn tired now..After doing Chinese hw somemore.. Shall just say I can't wait for the second instalment! :D |
