She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Yesterday and today! (:

Well I have always been, all these while. But then I just REALISED yesterday night how fortunate I REALLY am.
Mostly thanks to someone, who took to confiding into me again. Hearing it all, I can't help feeling so *nothingtosay*.
I know it's hard just from the sound of it. I doubt I'll be going through the same thing, but then again we can't predict the future. Still, touchwood.
Anyway seriously...
Just smile alright.

Anyway I passed my History Assignment lah.
I never knew I could be so happy with a pass lah.
Seriously now I don't care if it's high pass or low pass, I pass, damn happy liao.
If I got 13/20 in the past I would be totally omg but now it's like "OH YES THANK GOD!"
Oh and I got 9/15 for my geog. "OH YES THANK GOD!"
Zzz whatever lah I'll fail alot seriously.
After history was Nan Zhong Quan. Enjoy it cause it's one of the slackest lessons and it is fun! Not as tough as dance, btw.
So anyway today I was leading my group again, and then at the end I got my count mixed up. So it was like.
"20...21...22...EH! 2324..." Then end off laughing. Hahahaha it really seemed damn funny lor.
Then Chinese..
1 hour passd in a flash, like anyone even bother to listen.
Then recess! ^^
Recess was spent doing FPS lah. Shit that crap.
I hate it and it's useless. -.-
Well, unless you are completely pro at it like yunxin, you get to go to Australia for competition and you get to meet ACS shuai ges. ^^

ENGLISH LESSON. (we call it Language Arts here though.)

Well okay I should stop beating around the bush. Anyway, NY has this thing called 'SIA' which is actually Student Initiated Assessment/Assignment. It is like 20% of the term marks (or maybe overall, I don't know, but overall would really be too high a weightage) for a subject.
Okay anyway.
Our class was combined with 113 for the story-telling.
I think most 113 girls are really outspoken and daring. I mean most of them were really loud, clear, expressive.
102 was okay lah. Not bad also. (: GO ONE-TWO! <33
Most of the girls in 113 did were about spooky ghost stories. I think the two which left me with an impression were the:
1) Where some girl brought a notebook for $50 and the shopkeeper warned her not to open it to the last page OR ELSE..
And then all the spooky spooky thing dunno what wind blow here blow there then blow until last page.
Then she saw a price tag. $10. -.-
2) Not much on storyline, just that it involves alot of stuff like. Switching off lights. Using torchlight to light up her face. Etc.etc.
And her scream was seriously HIGH~.
I. Was. Really. Having. Goosebumps.
Okay anyway.
Klara's ling gan is damn good can.
After one round (Group A-G), it was my group (F)'s turn again.
So Klara was like saying to me, "Pass me your paper."
I went, O.O, "Why?"
"Because you are going to go up next."
"How you know?!"
"Aiya I have a very strong feeling lah."
Miss Foo, "Yan Ying."
Everyone around us, "WTF?!" and look at Klara.
Okay anyway.
I went up.

Took like 10 seconds to clear my mind first.
And I had a feeling my class was gonna have high expectations of me. -.-
Started off with the usual, "Good morning everyone, I'm Yan Ying from 102. Today I'm going to share with you a rather, well, horrifying experience I had."
Ahaha~ Even my second sentence is exaggerated.
Like Chicken Pox very horrifying like that. -.-
There were a few humourous lines in the story lah...
Mostly the dialects (which were allowed to be included)
And I think my favourites (or received the most responses) ones were:
"Afterall...nu3 ren2 de4 mei4 li4 zui4 zhong4 yao4!" (Miss Foo's head shot up here)
And of course the "I really felt like Invincible Unbeatable Super Duper Suaywoman!"
I don't think my storyline was good lah. I mean it rarely had one.
But then I don't think anyone noticed, since I didn't really lack much expression (I hope). To me, expression is very important and I always try to make that as good as possible - I seirously think it's the most captivating part lah. I mean you can have a totally wonderful storyline but then if you speak totally monotonous without actions, like people will even bother finish listening to your first paragraph.
I think my SIA went quite well. Received quite alot of typical compliments from my classmates. -.-
Throughout my presentation the two teachers who were grading were smiling at me, so I guess my nervousness was really reduced.
But then again it's quite an irony.
It's like when I'm waiting, when I'm listening to other people's story-telling, I would get REALLY nervous and my heart would keep skipping beats.
But then I get up onto the stage, start speaking, 15 seconds later, enjoying my limelight. :D
I hope I'd at least get a 15 out of 22. Okay I didn't really put in much effort into memorizing (practically the only time I did was during shower time) but it was okay lah, only stoned for one time lor.
Oh yah my use of stage-space sucks too.

Oh yah I think the one from 102 which left me a deep impact today was Cheryl's, a complete contradiction of my humourous and light-hearted one.
Well it was about her Grandmother passing away and things like that. Towards the end she got really >< and started tearing. And her voice was shaking lah seriously.
I went totally 'aww...' and tears started filling my eyes as well, together with most of my classmates. There was like, total silence there okay. And then the applause which exploded at the end was really O.O
It was very good can.
Kept everyone's attention span.
After LA we had Science.
Boring lah..
For today'd one we to draw what we see on the experiment we did last Friday. -.-
Oh okay anyway.
Art lesson was slack too.
But contact time was rather ><. Sigh shan't say much.
Anyway after school we went to find our Chinese teacher as we failed our ying yong wen. Klara, Regine, Shu Yi and me.
I mean practically 1/2 of the class failed but we very free so just go lor lol.
In case redo still fail! T.T
Led to me being like 1h 30 mins (the first 1h were..Waiting for her to finsih her lesson with the sec 4s. -.-) for Theatre.
Lol.
Theatre's very productive today.
We had alot of ideas to offer to each other, between Shu Min, Shu Hui and I. We seemed quite satisfied with each other's suggestions and if we tested it out and really like it, we'll all get damn excited one lol. And start jumping around. -.-
Anyway there was this part where I was teaching Shu Min to do some bimbotic walk (Regina George that kind) which suits her character. She couldn't quite do it even after quite a couple of tries so we were all bursting into laughter cause how she did it was damn funny. Try putting in Slow+Gangstery+Seductive.
Seriously it was hilarious lol.
Anyway Shu Min's character's suppose to be "the most bimbotic person on Earth", Shu Hui's "the most sarcastic person on Earth" and me... "the most innocent person on Earth".
Innocent.
Like wait a second.
Innocent + yy = ...
Ehh seriously it's a super challenging role for me can. Innocent... Like pfft!

Rushed off for ballet immediately after theatre.
I think ballet went quite well, considering the fact that I didn't really forget any steps. It was tiring of course. Very lah.
I wonder how people can think ballet is relax and slack. Such perfect irony.
Anyway.
Even though it's tough I still enjoy it. (:
Unfortunately compliments are rarely heard these days. In the past, say, the early part of last year there were alot okay, whether to me or to other girls.
Haha also good lah. At least we won't be so ego.
As they always say, a pride comes before a fall.
Oh yah.
I shall admit that there are nice RGS girls like Phoebe also lah lol.
I mean she offered me something to eat last week okay! (I starve on Tuesdays.)
Anyway we were talking alot to each other lor. Cause got common topic.
But then again I can't figure what's the common topic.

I think we get along very well other than the fact that we keep influencing our ballet juniors like hell.

Had boring third lang.
Damn I want to quit (Jia Le and Iffera quitted).
Just calculated right, if I quit third lang I can like save damn much time lah! Instead of reaching home at 5+, I can actually reach home at around 3! And take car 2.30 can le loh.
Anyway my mum told me to quit hahaha. After finishing this term loh.
Since all my other cousins also don't take third lang and they say it's a waste of time. Unless you have interest that is.
Which I don't!
Oh yah then my Monday will be ever-so-packed like Tuesday as I have ballet from 8.15-9.15. But then plus minus travelling time, extention etc, altogether right, it's like 8-9.45.
But then again ballet is my <3.
And I will not drop it lah. Diedie won't drop one.
Not even if I'm forced to, not even if it will adversely affect my spine.
I've been living with it since 7, so not going for ballet will make me feel weird.
Anyway it has been probably the only thing keeping me fit for the past few years.
But then again not like you have to do much from Beginner-Grade 3. Damn slack one lor, and my ballet teacher damn nice one to lower grades one lor. Higher grades she'll start screaming and everything. Ahaha~
Zzz anyway she's pregnant again.
I mean didn't she just give birth in January last year? Hahaha.
