She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Edited, but not finished.Bringing you back to 1984, this sentimental song was originally recorded by George Benson (the version you're listening to now). It then achieved world-wide success in cover version by Hawaian singer Glenn Medeiros.

Why this song is significant to me is because it is my parents' wedding song (they used Medeiro's version) and I practically grew up with it. In addition, I would say this is my favourite song. So pure, sincere and sweet. =)
If you're really dumb and you haven't realised, I have changed my blogskin.
The previous one was used since 1st Jan 07 and there was some problem with it, according to some people.
Therefore, I'm back with a new look.
Initially I was deliberating over the light blue version and this pink version, but I decided on this one. At least for now. Will be changing to the light blue one + Winter Sonata song on 1st Jan, and that blogskin is going to stay for quite some time.
I was choosing skins for like the whole day because I'm really picky and everyone says so too.
Hanrui contradicted Pinetree and terpendek by saying I should choose pink cuz I'm a girl and then the other two said I should choose blue cause I tomboy. XD Though Pinetree said pink one was nicer.
Oh yeah. Me and Siew Boon thought Shao Qi is damn girly (cuz his skins are all girly ones) so then I went to test him and obviously he said he preferred the pink one.
Seriously, Shao Jun, keep a look-out for your brother. Later you no more sister-in-law and I AM NOT GOING TO HELP YOU! XD

Issue 2: War with Pineland!
Ok this issue kinda outdated but I had war with Pineland for about 2 and the half hours, starting from 7.45pm I think.
Till now I dunno how come the war even started, but King Pinetree (Zisong) and I were pissing each other off with Sean, Hanrui, Junyang and Jeff being extras.
Oh firstly let me introduce myself. I am the Queen of Styrofoam, Your Majesty Miss Sim Yan Ying. And the reason why I chose STYROFOAM is because Pinetree has phonophobia which is the fear of loud sounds, especially sudden and unexpected ones.
I have a little bit of that actually. A year ago or so I was afraid of those lion dance or dragon dance thingie then I always stuff tissue papers in my ears ROFL.
His case his different though - He goes berserk at at high and squeaky sounds, and styrofoams make those.
And therefore, because I am very guailan, I started STYROFOAMSTYROFOAMSTYROFOAM etcetc haha and he went rather berserk. Then I declared war on him and he happily declared. He asked if I want bloody war or cold war and I chose bloody war because I cannot stand cold wars because I hate daoing people (unless that person pisses me off like crazy).
So bloody war begun, and his first step was flaming my tagboard - as you can see. It's a relief that his flaming isn't much of pointless "FLAME FLAME FLAME" and at least there's something to read to keep me entertained. Thank you so much King Pinetree!
MY first step was recruiting people to SIDE ME because he doesn't have a blog which I can flame. My flaming rox, I can flame until your whole tagboard, even the message history, is filled with MY NAME ONLY.
I had to leave for ballet at 8.15 and when I came back war started again, this time he wanted cold war.
Which I hate cause I seriously cannot stand daoing people seriously seriously cannot stand daoing people. Don't make use of my weakness though. If I get really pissed off I can delete you off my MSN list and dao you forever.
So anyway, cause the conversation had me, Pinetree, Hanrui and Ng Peng, I still could talk lah, and I said smth like, "I don't want cold war, but I don't want to surrender too."
Then he asked, "Peace treaty?"
And after agreeing to the terms and conditions for the Peace treaty (he's damn formal @#$%^&*), we signed it and yeah, cold war lasted for about 5 minutes.
ROFL.
