Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

PSLE LC
As the whole Singapore's P6 know, today is PSLE Listening Comprehension!YOOHOO! =) How I felt? Hmm.. Heart was beating at a normal rate. Until..sitting in the classroom..Paper under table..Waiting to start.. And when start, heart goes back beating normally again. XD I arrived in school at around 7.10, 7.15, the usual time yeahhs. Met Alex at Gate A. =) Went to the canteen and search for the table we're supposed to sit at. CR 33. Lots of people there already. There was an empty space beside Yoke Kay, so sat down there with Alex. Opposite me was Shao Jun, Samuel and Nicholas. NICHOLAS YONG MAN.. Expect insulting and pervertic jokes. OF COURSE there were, about teachers somemore. Wanted to tell him "go die" but it was so damn funny okay. Me and yoke kay were trying like crazy to stifle our laughter and SJ and Samuel were staring at us. Probably because he's become so used to it already. =X Hmm.. We did our "silent" reading for like more than 1 hour.. YK and SJ were doing their science paper which miss lin gave out yesterday and I was revising through my "Ultimate Science". Speaking of "Miss Lin" and "homework" ... I shall say that Miss Lin is seriously letting us go at a very easy and relaxed pace. She only gave like Math Booklet B and Science paper, and she says, "I also have lots of papers to mark, so we shall suffer together." SUFFER?! DO YOU CALL THIS SUFFER?! ONE MATH BOOKLET B (not even full paper) AND SCIENCE PAPER, and she calls that SUFFERING?! 6B's teachers give a heck lot more. They just dump it on them, and NO ONE complains. And just by Miss Lin giving out ONE Science paper, 6D went, "HAR..." Like ... WTF?! I was probably expecting 8 papers okay. Nvm, we have lots to mug for anyway. Okay back to LC. Anyway Nicky Yong lent me this book titled "Terribly True War Stories". I LOVE IT, simply can't stop reading it. I like to read about wars. Although I don't support them of course. Of course, I hate Hitler. Adolf Hitler. I bet if I were born in your time I could have defeated you man. You horrible incorrigible little fellow. There were a few stories, so touching, so sad. Some were very brave, courageous. Some were smart, like the French (led by King Philip VI) and English (led by King Edward III and his son, Edward, also known as Black Prince) war. The English only had 15,000 men and the French had 40,000, but the English won because the English was really smart then. And King Edward III didn't even fight sia. He was just standing at the Windmill on top of the hill and watching. Dated back to 1376, recorded by John Froissart. Manymanymany more nice ones, like the how they would call it a truce on Christmas day and shake hands and play football together. Then the next day war resumes. That story is very sad. Extract: "My name Albert. Good play Hans." "Good played Albert." They kept the handshake firm as they looked into one another's eye for half a minute or more. "Good shot," Hans said. "Thanks," Albert replied and felt himself blushing. Suddenly the German's eyes turned glassy and his face bleak. "Today shoot football. Tomorrow shoot guns." Albert's head dropped. "Aye." When he looked up Hans was marching back towards his trench. "Hans!" Albert cried. The German stopped and turned. "Good luck," Albert said. He recited the words from his memory as if they were some magic charm. "May God protect you and bring you home safe." Hans gave a brief nod. "You too, Albert. You too." Aww. Anyway. 'One German refused to step into No Man's Land and shake hands with the enemy during the Christmas 1914 truce. He said, "That sort of thing should not happen in war". He stayed in his dugout. As a result, he never learned to make friends with the British and French enemies. This was a pity because the man's name was Corporal Adolf Hitler. Twenty years later he became leader of Germany and took them into a second, even more horrific, world war.' Cold-blooded creature. *Shudders* Okay backk to LC then. Nicky esp made fun of @#$%^&* Chinese teacher. Can't believe 2 + weeks later we'll be free from her grasp. OMG! YAY! Invigilators were nice. Not some fierce old ah-ma. At least can relax abit, or else look into those ah-ma's face will scared one. XD Chinese LC..Pretty sure of everything..Except the first question.. Some say 1 some say 3. NVM, it's over, shall not care. There was a break after Chinese LC. Sat at the table in the canteen again. Had to wait 1+ hours again. I was kinda surprised to see SJ not shoving and playing with those Alex, Amos, Samuel, etc, behind him. He said, "I want to learn JF and Gerald already." I was like O.O Maybe it's that SMS lesson I gave him. Now what ever he asks from me or I give him, he never fails to respond with a "Please" and "Thank you". It's so much better man! I was reading that war book and practising singing with SJ. That time sang the same song with Gerald also. Dunno which one is better. Both lacked expression, obviously. Was sitting beside Pamela. =D She's nice! Haha. But no topic to talk. =X English LC was EASY la. SJ and I memorized the answers at the last minute. Then cuz we partnered each other down, we were like reciting. Glad to know it was exactly similar. Full marks? I hope so. =D Then saw JF and Gerald (other group) at staircase there. Then at canteen they asked me if I wanna go Popular because they wanna buy ASSESSMENT BOOKS. I was like, "-.- sif I believe lah. Assessments my foot. I bet you guys going arcade." Then they practically raged at me, "ARCADE?! ARCADE NA LI KE YI CHUAN XIAO FU JIN QU LA!!!!!" I rejected their offer anyway. Nth to buy at popular also. SJ told me that he's worrying for his PSLE already (now he chionging like siao la, just see). Sigh . Told you so . You didn't listen . Now it's kind of too late . Okayyy. Going to MUG! byebye! =D |
