Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Science Prelim
Today was...Science.I didn't really study during the weekends (refer to previous post) and therefore I couldn't finish studying. Like, whatever lor, I mean, not like all I memorized are gonna come out. Actually I memorized quite a few, like "What is Greenhouse Effect?", "What is Deforestation?", "What is Acid Rain?", etc, plus all those Adaptations thingie. And you know what? I shudda slept early the previous night because all those din even come out. Anyway, Kar Mun and I were like saying the paper was tough...When everyone was saying it was either 1) ok 2) easy. I was grimacing when they said that. It really wasn't easy, please.. It kinda went like this (after school, gonna line up that time): Kar Mun: Aye Yan Ying, how do you find the Science paper? Me: (Grimaces) Difficult leh. Kar Mun: Yah, I also find it difficult! Then they all say not difficult! (worried frown) Me: Yah lar, even Amos Su say easy!! Me and Kar Mun together: OH MY GOD! The "oh my god!" was hilarious. Well it was really a contradiction okay! Kar Mun is first in class (yours truly second..) and Amos Su is last. And then top student says DIFFICULT while the other one.. Okay I was panicking through Booklet A and I kept shifting my buttock cause I can't keep still because I was extremely paranoid. Like..ARGH! Was thinking like: goingtoflunkgoingtoflunkgoingtoflunk! Booklet B was better. At least I only skipped like..2 or 3 questions before going back to it. My booklet B has always sucked, though. For SA1 I only lost 2 marks in Booklet A, but I got 86/100. Reason? 28 in Booklet B. 28/40! Like...WTH?! Anyway, Miss Lin talked about our Prelim English results today.. She said we didn't do well. Only a handful of above 50/65 for Booklet B. Mostly 40-50/65. And there's people who failed. Everyone thinks that I will definitely not be the one to fail but I'm not so sure. Now I'm living by, "Everything's possible." Sigh I'm like really worried for my English already. I have such high expectations for prelims and I am expecting myself to be able to make it above 260/300, which will be like 3 or 4 marks more from my SA1 if I x 0.75, and 9 or 10 marks if I x 0.73. Like..Wah lau lar. To top it all off, I have been getting "nightmares" almost every night about the Nanyang DSA. I dunno, I keep dreaming about it! Not dreaming about the positive one, dreaming about the negative one.. I really cannot keep still. Don't make me worry la. Just tell me now!!! Blehh I'm sure many others are as good as me or even better. Smart people like Kar Mun, Kah Loon, etc, are relatively good speakers. So..In the end I might not be able to make it after all. I'm talking about PSLE as well, because PSLE I really got 10% confidence only. Hmm yeahhs. That's about it. HMT tomorrow, gotta mug hard and smart. |
