Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Prelims..
Prelims...Both English and Chinese LC was on Tuesday. What can I say? Chinese was simple, except for the last passage, I was like wtf?! Had to get Shao Jun to explain the entire thing to me. TWICE . He was like saying, "笨 leh!" Natural reaction was to of course, hit him. He deserves it what, say I 笨... Haha but jkjk one lah. Miss Lin said English LC was last year's PSLE one. Damn, if only this year's can be as easy! It was freaking simple! Though Miss Lin said it was tricky. I wanna be born in 1994! No I'm just kidding. If I were born in 1994 I wouldn't have known those awesome friends of mine, Miss Lin, or 6D '07, my favourite class in my life. =) Yesterday was English. =) Both compo and paper 2. As I said, the night before I was uber demoralized, uber stressed, uber... But whatever. The next morning I woke up feeling neutral, went to school feeling neutral, started off my compo feeling neutral.. But as I wrote I got more and more confident, and enjoyed myself so much while writing that..Really unique compo. I mean, it was nothing like what I've always been writing. I wrote in a more..Boyish style. What boys would actually write. Hahah. As usual, there was a little bit of humor, like the rest of my compos. =) And I'm SO relieved, SO glad, that I didn't forget my good phrases nor my good vocab. The night before I was thinking like, "I'm going to die, I'm going to write like how my P3 brother does." It was actually..One of the best compos I did. Just a pity I can't get it back. Paper 2 was okay, I suppose. Booklet B was okay, Booklet A was slightly harder. I did from the back first, actually. I guessed a few in Booklet A, maybe like 4 or 5, then all those I guessed were most probably right! Or at least, the dictionary or majority says so. XD Luck's on my side. Thanks to Buddha. =) Today's math. 6D was having different arguments. Some said it was easy, some said it was okay, some said it was tough. In my opinion, it's pointing to the easy side, just that it's that kind of questions where first glance, you think "DIE LIAO", and read through the question for the second time or so, then you say, "CHEY WAH LAU, SCARE ME, SO EASY." 6C's class said it was difficult though. =/ Derek Yeo said so. Argh I minus 1 mark alr!! My 297/1100 didn't simplify. @#$%^&*( Wadeva la. One mark. The rest should be fine. A* should be achievable. Or so I hope. In my Primary School life, there hasn't been a time when I fall below A* for math. I just started to cultivate a deep interest in tough math questions, except for the fact that I don't like to compete with Mathletes. This guy, Xuan Ping, was like hurling math questions at me on MSN and I kept asking for more. I don't really know him well, it was probably just last week when I knew about his existence. From 6E. Pretty challenging, those problems, and as I have no time to waste now, after PSLE I'm going to find uber tough math questions and spend days doing it. Will not give up until the answer's in my hands. Deadline: 1 week. The only math I'm going to do is that question. LOL. Anyway today's math, there was this speed question I read wrongly, and kept thinking, "怪怪 one.." AND I TOOK FIFTEEN MINUTES TO REALISED THAT I READ THE QUESTION WRONGLY! IT'S TOWN Y TO TOWN X! NOT TOWN X TO TOWN Y! Then after I realised I was like smiling to myself, laughing at my own foolishness. I've got ample time to just sit down there and think - I've checked through the paper 1 and the half time already (when I check I don't mean just flipping the pages, I mean doing every single question thoroughly all over again). Because I finished at 9a.m, in an hour and fifteen minutes. When YYK told Carrissa, her eyes were practically bulging out. I wasn't even rushing through - That's just my speed. Most people finish at 9.3o..Wah 1/2 hr later than me. As I said, speed doesn't count, it's your ANSWERS, how careless or careful you are, and so I don't just rush through and sit there and daydream hor, I spent 45 minutes checking my paper and 15 minutes realising that I read the speed question wrongly. -.- So then, 10 o'clock already lor. During recess, Miss Lin asked me why I was smiling to happily to myself. HAHAHAHAHAHA. 160km/h!! There I got it!! But I hate speed!! =)) And thanks everyone, for flooding my taggie, handphone, MSN, with "JIAYOU!"s, "Good luck!"s, "Congrats!"s and "How's the interview?!"s. Really appreciate those encouragements, but sorry if I'm going to have to disappoint you on 31st August. I will post in detail about the NYGH DSA interview..That is, if I get in (I promised YYK, ASB, Carrissa, Odelia to send my head rolling if I get in). Because high chance I won't what. It went fine, though. Going to the temple after school really lifted the confidence in me. And I made the teachers laugh with something I said. About WU ZE TIAN. Now you wanna know more? PRAY HARD FOR ME TO GET IN!! |
