Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. I was back in NYGH again ytd!! Yipee!! And the next time I will get to go into that school is...Either next year, or forever not. No wait there's the definitely-cannot-go-in-DSA-cuz-chinese-is-super-tough-and-even-chanjingyi-who-got-highest-in-ytps-last-year (271)-cannot-go-in.

My usual confidence is somewhat gone...To tell you the truth, a small part of me believes that I won't be able to get into NYGH because I don't have that kind of genius potential. In addition, my SA1 results really sucked and I'm not doing anything to improve it.
Also, I don't know if my studying method is right and I'm not sure if I remembered anything I learnt at tuition.
Well, I'll stop sounding pathetic.

I reached school at about 7, like the others. The bus was supposed to leave at 7, but due to a delay, it left at 7.30..And Miss Soon (tcher in charge) & Mr. Desmond (IT instructor) only arrived at about 7.15. Talk about punctuality.
Anyway, this time I didn't scream in the bus when the school came into view, of course. I was too busy taking pictures of NYGH through the bus's window.
Ugh I couldn't get a clear picture of that school, thanks to the raindrops. It was raining that morning, so cooling. =))

And the little Nanyang Snail!!! It's the first time I've got excited over a snail, really. Everyone thought I was really crazy to actually take a shot of that. -.- Okay, I am. Probably.
I didn't walk around like a retard with my mouth hanging wideeee open today as much as on Thursday. =) The first few minutes when I just got off the bus was no question, of course.
Though, I was unaware whenever my mouth drops open. But then, hurriedly, I would close it as it was so unpresentable. And it didn't drop open again, until the next nice thing.
Which is, about, everything.
As we arrived early, at probably just before eight, we went to the canteen to have some food. Not me (was doing Paya Lebar's math paper), but the rest. I wasn't hungry..And the first food I had in Nanyang was ICE-CREAM on Thursday! First food ya know. :-)

After they had their meals, we went to register for the IT Quiz. Got free adobe bag..Inside got thumbdrive summore. Mr. Desmond was jealous. =)Went to have a seat in the auditorium for the keynote speech after that.
Siew Boon's sister was one of the backstage ppl. FYI, Ai Tong was the red team, Paya Lebar the green one (EARTH DAY!), and RGS the blue one.
Jia Ling told me to take this picture cuz "someday you'll be the one behind it". But I told her I didn't have to, because minutes ago I already took it. =) Then she said, "omg crazy."

I was practically nodding off during the keynote speech - He was saying about the same thing over and over again! Another reason was because I was too tired...I slept late again. =/ Wasn't too late this time though, just 12+.
That morning I could have woken up immediately..But the reason I didn't was because I was having a nightmare that the "Nestle Aunty" (there's a "Nestle" stall at my school) was a murderer.
I know, so mean of me. But at least the one in my dream is a horrible Malay and the actual one is a friendly Indian. =) The "Nestle Uncle" and her are one of my favorite vendors cuz they are really friendly and stuff. I also like the two aunties from the Indian stall and the drinks stall. >.<>
Okay back to NYGH. ^^ Anyway, after the keynote speech, you can go to the mike and ask him (whoever he is) some questions, and by ASKING A QUESTION you get to win a flashdrive. O.O WOW.
So anyway, Vera went to ask a question.

"So how's your pay right now?"
Well the entire auditorium boom in laughter. Well somewhere in the speech he talked about the "high pay rate but not higher than doctors/lawyers, etc".
Wow I have to take my hat off for (is it for or to? Answer needed!) Vera.
She wanna join debate club, and I think she's more suitable for that than anyone else. I mean...How she talks and stuff...
It's Modern Dance for me!!!!! Yipeee!!! I am made for dancing. XD
Well anyway after that was the NYGH school presentation...And after that was none other than the IT Quiz.
Because the first group of participants weren't done with the quiz yet, we had to be put into a holding room with two NYGH gurls "entertaining us". They were funny and comical, so me and Joy were exchanging the "what the hell..." glances. Still they were nice.
Anyway, FYI, you know I got the lowest among my friends during the familiarisation day round right? Well this time was indeed a big jump, I topped them. =)) Wasn't good la, still failed. 14/30. Most of them got 11, though. The girl fm dunno what sch sitting beside me got 10.
Sigh, I really suck at IT I tell you. The sake of joining is just because it concerns NYGH. >.<>
Wasn't even expecting to win or something. After that was the SCHOOL TOUR! We were shown round the school by a very friendly and very nice sec 3 girl, Jasmine. (She just sent me an SMS like 7 seconds ago)
LOL Vera and Joy just couldn't stop talking to her. I was busy snapping away pictures. When I have a camera in hand, you know how it's like. Not that I have a passion for photography, but I just like to take pictures of many things. Even that Nanyang Snail!
Gymnastics...They are like sibei pro can?! Wow I can never do what they did. I would be too afraid, anyway. xD

Miss Soon...NYGH alumni...Tcher in charge...Anyway after a short wait, they announced the three teams - Ai Tong, Paya Lebar and RGPS. RGPS. Grrrrrr.
But I really have to admit the Lee Kai Wei from RGPS is really really very very good. Wow I have to bow to her. I mean, in the teams round, almost all the questions were answered by her and she won the individual champion award as well.
The final round and stuff was quite hilarious lar...Like during the audience round, the girls had the audience to stand up and raise their hands if they wanna answer the question. Not like I did bother to do that. I dun wanna stand up. xD
So there's another question where you don't need standing up and so I raised my hand and got picked. =.= Not like I actually know the answer. Mr Desmond told me of course. So I went to the mike stupidly and said with hesitation, one word, "RAM." And before that I kept asking Mr Desmond, "Sure ah, don't bluff me arh, must correct ah." I really din wanna embarrass myself. In NYGH somemore!
Heaved a sigh of relief when the distributor came up to me to give me the Google Notebook and Popular Voucher. =.= OMG I'm never gonna use them.
Well some of the final round questions are REALLY REALLY EASY. I mean REALLY REALLY EASY. Esp those games ones I all know. Like Asiasoft, Maplestory, Sims 2, Star Wars..There wasn't a single game question I dunno, because I dabbed a little in every game. I've never got addicted to a computer game before. =) Yay me.

Went to the boarding school after the final round, which RGS won at 100. I mean, the computer that thingie didn't even cater for 3 digits, and they weren't expecting so too, so the last zero disappeared. But they minimised the size of the screen after that. =))
Miss Soon offered to help me take. =)) At the boarding school..And sorry if all the pictures are "tubaled". >.<
Anyway thanks mummy and daddy for getting those souvenirs for me. I have a shelf at home where I put all those NYGH stuff. I'm crazy to even add in the hairpin I picked up on NYGH's floor and the water they provided on Thursday. Really crazy but they would be wiped out next year.
Okay RV's very good too but NYGH's better.
Okay I won't be disappointed if I don't get into NYGH.

Mainly two types - Do you like your school? Are you happy in school? Do you like going to school? Will you come back to your primary school after PSLE?
All these which I put strongly agree. YTPS ROCKS!
The other type - Teachers make learning fun. Lessons are fun.
All these which I put disagree. I mean...It really sux to know already and still listen to the teacher SLOWLY doodling on one simple question.
Anyway today I didn't nod off in school today. Probably it was because of the latte I drank in school in the morning today, or maybe it was P.E. Today was real energetic. =)
