She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.

Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol.

She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for.

She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism.

She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship.

Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours.

Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all.

“Forevers” are bullshit as of now.

The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too.

She is always torn between two.

But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.

NANYANG GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL

3 things I wanna blog about today.

Starting from before recess.
Hmm, actually SJ wanted to borrow a pair of scissors from me, but as usual, typical me, I made him say "Beautiful, cute, smart, cool Princess YY, may I borrow your scissors please?"

Hehe, it was just to make fun of him, to see how much he can take and to, of course, make him mad.
I mean, a few days ago he asked for the scissors too, and I said, "Address me as beautiful, cute, smart, cool Princess YY."
So he did. "Beautiful, cute, smart, cool Princess YY, can borrow your scissors?"
Then I said, "Where is my 'May I'?"
He tried again, this time having some difficulty reminding the Princess thingie. But he got it right. "Beautiful, cute, smart, cool Princess YY, MAY I borrow your scissors?"
Then I said, "Where is my 'Please'?" LOL I am so evil.
Then he "chp wah lau", but he still tried again. "Beautiful, cute, smart, cool Princess YY, MAY I borrow your scissors PLEASE?"

Well today he got it right. =) But when I said, "Yes, you may." in this very stupid american tone (I'm not this polite and proper lah, seriously, that was just to play with him.), he just took it, but I din let go cuz he didn't say, "Thank you."

HAHAHA, I made him say that.

So I continued having fun, making him speak GOOD English whenever he uses Singlish or Chinese.
Our sitting positions

Natalie SJ

Gerald Odelia Yan Ying Julia Lim

We couldn't help laughing, really, me, SJ, Natalie, and Julia Lim. Then SJ said to Gerald, "这个人疯了,不要跟她讲话."
Then Gerald said, "为什么?"
Then SJ replied, "She keep speaking what good English...Siao already."
Then I spoke to Gerald about how speaking good English is very important and I was like using those bigggg words combined with american english, etc, and immediately the six of us started laughing again. Miss Lin was reprimanding Amos Su for smth, whatever it is I dun care, so she didn't really give a damn about us.

And goodness sake, that Gerald! He started using "good" English also, which made him sound like a retarded Bangladesh. He meant to use it that way, really.
This probably went on for 10-15 mins or so. Most of the time we say smth funny and look at each other (among six of us la), trying hard not to laugh. But we always burst out in laughter at the same time.
It's so fun lah. You won't understand if you're not there. The way we're all speaking is horrible.

Then 10.15 none of us completed our Synthesis and Transformation.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

PETER PARKER CAME TO CLASS TODAY!!!
Peter Parker from SPIDER-MAN!!!
Okay, not exactly, but a dead ringer of Peter Parker. Just that he's so much taller. Peter Parker's little.

And his real identity is...........................An NIE teacher.
LOL really.

I mean, it was 12pm when the three NIE teachers were scheduled to come, just after our Chinese lessons, where the corridor was crazy because everyone was milling about there, returning to our own classrooms.
Before I know it Alex was hitting my shoulder and said, "PETER PARKER! PETER PARKER!"
"Where?"
"NEH! NA BIAN!!!"
Gosh he really looked like Peter Parker. Really really. He's indian, but not that dark.

And when Alex ask me help him ask for autograph I said, "You siao ah."
He was serious! The next thing I knew was him asking for the teacher's autograph. He was like damn confused liddat and the whole class was laughing, including Miss Lin. Then Tricia explained, "he says you look like Peter Parker."

LOL

Really got autograph seh!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3rd.
And the most important.
OMG GUESS WHAT?!
For the first time in my life I stepped into NANYANG GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL. My life.
I know it's like totally ohhhhhh emmmmmmm geeeeee I can't believe it!!!!!!!!
OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG. I totally freaked out can.
Imagine yourself stepping into Cambridge, yah.

I went with seven other girls to the Nanyang IT Quiz Familiarisation day: Joy, Vera, Valerie, Michelle, Jia Ling, Natalie and Ren Zhi.

Well I skipped supplementary today, Yippee! - See I'm slacking.
Anyway on our way there, we talked to Miss Soon (we talked to her alot today), who's in charge of this thingie. She's quite a computer pro also.
In my entire primary school life I've never dared to raise my eyes to look at her's cause she's the teacher I'm most afraid of. If I didn't remember wrongly, I once forgotten to bring my Social Studies AB and she scold me just because of that (rather screamed at me), and then I almost cried or something.
I was P4, but I've always been afraid of strict teachers, even now. Yeah, that's a secret I'll let you in. Shhhh okay?

I've never seen her smiled before, except to a teacher once and I was like, "oh my. MISS SOON SMILED."

But today on the bus she smiled while asking us if we have any questions...She looks really good when she smiles ehh. Immediately I warmed up. (She smiled alot today, more than Miss Lin did. Miss Lin smiled only during the AlexPeterParker thing. =( )

Some of the girls including me talked to her all the way from there to NYGH, about school uniforms and stuff. Then I asked her what school she is from, and she said, "Nanyang lor."
Then I was practically gaping at her and muttered, "oh my god.." She smiled. Then Vera said, "Aiya, she crazy about Nanyang one lar." Well exactly.

I'm so happy I can't control my feelings, that's why I let out a scream in the bus when I saw the school.
That's okay, because everyone knows how crazy I am about NYGH. Most girls' dream school would be RGS, but not mine. RGS..hmm just not right for me.

The first step was...Amazing. For the next 15 minutes or so I stood gaping at the school with my mouth hung wide open like a retard. I looked stupid, and whenever I tried to close my mouth it falls back open again.
I seriously could not calm down, but other than gaping at the school I didn't do anything embarrassing. I mean, I didn't scream IN THE SCHOOL or whatever. My heart was just pumping with excitement. I felt like fainting.
And till now, I still have no idea why I adore Nanyang.

Cause we went there early, we could go to the canteen to have some snacks. I PICKED UP A HAIRPIN ON THE FLOOR!!! And I'm that crazy as to go keep it. Then when we saw our first Nanyang girl, Miss Soon said, "There, must wear that stupid skirt for 4 years lor."
I was like, "What did you just say?"
And then we all laughed.

Yeah, she told us the worst possible thing is to have your menses without knowing it, and then seeing that the skirt's so white...
Japanese flag. Hehehehehe.
I mean, should I actually bring an extra skirt or something?
And speaking of periods...
Well I din have it at recess today, so I totally wasn't aware it's coming. But when I went back home after the Nanyang thing, there was a huge red spot on my panties and shorts. WTH.
OMG I'M SO LUCKY IT DIN LEAK OUT TO MY PINAFORE. It would be a great start in NYGH. Not.

It seems like I'm the only one who thinks that the uniform is nice, yah? Even Miss Soon says it's ugly. I'm in love.

Straight to the point - I scored 6/20 for the testing quiz (onli familiarisation day). I think it's like the worst among my group or something. Highest is Joy, 13. I'm not intending to win this quiz at all, cause my IT knowledge is worse than a noobie, and I'm not kidding, but whatever concerns Nanyang I WILL GO.

Anyway at the computer lab after the quiz, a few girls had a quick conversation with us...They asked Jia Ling if she likes ytps, and Jia Ling said, "No, I hate it." Or something like that.
Hey seriously I LOVE ytps (although NYGH more of course, ytps is second) and so I said, "Jia Ling, how dare you say that." I mean, in front of Nanyang girls somemore. She want face or not?!
Well the girls laughed at my remark. >.<>.<>.<
After awhile we had to leave already (I mean it's so quick..). While waiting at the main entrance, me and the 6B girls talked to Miss Soon alot yet again. She had loads to share. =)
Oh yeah, cause after leaving the lab there's a carton of mineral water outside. I didn't take any, though, because I thought there was already water in my bag. Budden when Miss Soon took it out from her handbag, I was like, "Oh shit...Forgot to take water supplied by Nanyang just now."

I really wasn't expecting her to do anything lar, it was just a casual remark. And she actually gave it to me. And I was happy. I couldn't thank her enough.
I'm a freak. Overacting big time, but who cares? When you're in love it's like...

Stepping out of Nanyang was devastating. But the fact that I'll be coming back on Saturday is enough to make me smile.

It's 1.20 A.M. Morning.
