She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Hiho!
Replies to tags!alazyguy/SiiewBoon AHHH LOL I am a bean! 1.56cm. XD Shao Jun (one of my best friends, FYI alazyguy) will be so happy, trust me. I was taller than him last year. This is SO not fair. Well at the beginning of the year he was just 1cm taller. And after the June holidays it's like...DAMN, he shot up. Not fair. Notfairnotfairnotfair. Why can't girls be taller for once? sanyi You're right, he's YC's cousin. The NS that one. XD Wei Xuan Thanks babe! parent Although "please don't dampen my spirits" sound familiar, I really don't remember insulting any school, except for saying that I dislike RGS for some reasons unknown to even me. That's not really an insult, is it? Of course I'm sorry if I did, auntie. Hmm which entry is that? I'll make the necessary changes if possible. =) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yay, my paternal side relatives came over for dinner just now as my "Xiao Shu" just came back from AMERICA! Just wanna say a quick "WELCOME BACK!" I love America, but I love Singapore more! National day is approaching, so Yahoo! LOL it's a coincidence I'm listening to Tanya Chua's "Where I belong" now. On limewire. =.= Gosh when did I become so attached to my country? This reminds me of what Ms. Diana Chua said on Friday's art lesson. That there's a journalist who called Singapore a "Cultural Desert". I mean WTH, it's unique okay. Uniquely Singapore. What right do you have to insult Singapore? Another infuriating incident is that her friend went to attend a seminal in America for dunno what. Then she saw this group of people wearing this T-shirt with part of a world map behind. Guess where Singapore is. Somewhere on China. @#$%^&!!!! Daniel immediately blurted that he would give them one tight slap. LAWL. Still, @#$%^&!!!! So of course her friend went to say "Excuse me, Singapore is over here." Then she pointed to the exact location. Then the Angmoh man asked, "How do you know?" Well she answered, "I'm from Singapore." Hehehe. Well back to the topic. My XiaoShu actually got me a pink shirt! Thanks! PINK! It made me so envious to see their photos..Those with SNOW in ordinary yet beautiful and movie-like-at-least-to-me streets. OMG look at the TREES! The BENCH! The HOUSES! The WHITE! N-O F-A-I-R. Hahahaha. Anyway, I had tons of fun with my cousins (I don't get to talk or see them alot), e.g "Question and Answer". I mean we kinda started off playing boring ole' yet beneficial Monopoly, but then I didn't feel like playing anymore, so I went to bid my houses (is there such word as bidded?). Then as for the money, I thought of asking questions and those who can answer gets a bill. $1 also have. LOL. It seemed so interesting, so I began to steal money from the bank and continued asking questions like "Who is the president of U.S/Singapore?" to "What is Winnie the Pooh's guy friend name?" to "Name me the countries in ASEAN." to "Who is Angelina Jolie's husband?" to "Name me the Seven Wonders of the world." to "What time is Powerpuff Girls showing on Kidscentral?" (Seriously I didn't know it wasn't out anymore until my cousin told me cuz I last watched Kidscentral like 3/4 years ago.) to "Which character is Tom Felton playing in 'Harry Potter'?" to "How do polar bears keep themselves so warm in the freezing climate?" Some are really revision for me, haha. I asked slightly more than a hundred questions, if I'm not wrong, and some related to America to help my lil cousin (she's six and smart) score as she just came back from U.S what... It was really really fun being able to ask questions and finding out that you yourself know so many answers also. And I didn't know I was so knowledgable!!! Haha just kidding. Of course there were crap questions like "What is my name?" and "Am I a girl?" and "Who do I like?" (Which, evidently, is nobody for the moment. No, I did mention dating PSLE, didn't I?). And the one who answers the most questions obviously got the thickest wad of bills, which is my 13 years old cousin, duh. She's the oldest among us all. And she is TALL. No fairr... I'm prone to saying no fair nowadays. >< ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday (Nanyang IT Quiz training) Ohmygod I'm a noobie at computer. And I find nothing fun except for the Binary ---> Decimal/Octal/Hexadecimal conversion. I have absolutely no interest in IT. ________________________________________________ Which is the best choice for a specification for a video card? a) CSS b) EIDE c) latency d) AGP e) atapi f) bus What does the term "wave table synthesis" relate to? a) memory b) video c) CD-ROM d) L2 cache e) PCI bus r) sound Which frequency is a SDRAM clock speed (not DDR)? a) 55 b) 1 c) 250 d) 1000 e) 133 f) 10 What piece of hardware do EIDE cables connect to? a) hard drive b) floppy drive c) sound card d) video card e) memory f) cooling fan What is the name of the spec for the holes in a monitor's aperture grill? a) aperture holes b) DVI c) slotted orifice d) dot pitch e) CRT f) picture tube To be bootable a DOS partition must be: a) closed b) copied c) scanned d) erased e) opened f) active Which is the best hard disk seek time? a) 45px b) 5em c) 10mw d) 100ms e) 5ms f) 1nm Which is a PCI bus speed? a) 250Mhz b) 8.3Mhz c) 100Mhz d) 33Mhz e) 1000Mhz f) 50Mhz What is the data transfer rate for USB 2.0? a) 25Mb/s b) 480Mb/s c) 12Mb/s d) 8.3Mb/s e) 125Mb/s f) 66Mb/s Which do you use to comment out a line in the autoexec.bat file? a) b) 2 forward slashes c) xx d) pound sign e) rem f) semi-colon ________________________________________________ This was one of the quizzes we had to try. O.O I was clueless about almost every question. I'm a pro at everyday IT and HTML, but this...!!! Oh yeah I'm just going for the sake the SCHOOL. Nanyang Girls High. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm suddenly very worried that I'm keeping my hopes too high. What if my aggregate score is not enough, what if I'm not smart enough, what if I can't go to NYGH? I don't know, it's the only school I've given much thought about. And it's not easy to get in. I might be studying and studying and have many many tuitions, but I really do have a secret. Which is that I have never believed in doing alot of assessments will make you attain higher results or become smarter. I just don't see the point. I mean, you're not gonna be that lucky as to see all the questions that will come out in the exam. I'm just doing it blindly, because that's what everyone is doing. I mean, if I'm born with this brain, there's nothing I can do about it. Some people like Kar Mun are lucky; they are born with smart brains. They are born to study and not do anything else. I'm sure she'll make more than a successful lawyer, as that's what she intend on being. Maybe those who charge $1000 an hour. I'm starting to panic. What if I can't get into NYGH? In my mind my 1st-6th choice is NYGH. But of course I'm not gonna write that down. 7th choice is die. Good night. I have tuition tomorrow. 2. And a bunch of unfinished Chinese assessments. I'm turning into a pessimist. |
