She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

No A-team today..Teacher was on MC.
We only knew till FOUR! Which means that the half an hour before was used on..Doing assessments.I personally think that 6D is the most kiasu class...Kar Mun, Jia Ling & I doing ferociously while the geniuses from other class COULD NOT STOP PLAYING. Run here run there, shout here shout there..And to think KM, JL and I could still concentrate.

When Jie Ying reported with the MDM-LEE-IS-NOT-HERE news, it was alr 4pm..Grandpa fetching me home at 5, so still have an hour more to go. Continued with my assessments for the first 1/2 hour, then decided to take a break..
Saw Ah Jun Gor Gor in the canteen buying 100+. He told the uncle "Jia Yi Bai". I was, huh? Then I realised what he meant...Jia Yi Bai sounded so funny. So weird also.
Turns out that he was playing basketball with Samuel, Amos, Darius, Kun Woo and Nicholas...He invited me to join but then I told him that I cannot play basketball, as in like, really seriously dunno how to play..Was "encouraged" by the rest of the guys to try, but still very stubborn.
I MEAN, COME ON! WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME I HAVE TOUCHED A BASKETBALL?! Either last year's Sports Day or last year's P.E lesson.I watched for awhile, then thought that there was no harm trying...Dun care if the boys laugh..Ah Jun (as in Shao Jun) said that Amos is also not very good..And that if they dare to laugh, he will give them a smack cuz he is their Shi Fu.
Oh, right.
By the time Kun Woo and Darius had left, so...Well, I tried with an overhead throw - they were laughing (not as in mean mean liddat) and telling me that it was not the way..They kinda actually demonstrated how, so then I wanted to try again.
Guess what?
It sailed perfectly through the net. =D
Was so happy man!! Quite a few of them were surprised. Wahhs and jing leh!! and stuff.
It was really really fun playing basketball with them actually. You get a break off your hw and whatever troubles you have. I shot about 11-12 nets, and goaled 5!! About half, and I totally can't believe it! So now I know the right way to play basketball. =)
Not bad a game.There was a point of time when I started "learning through fun" by reciting whatever energy conversion and naming out all the materials needed to make the net, ball, wadeva wadeva.
Maybe the only bad thing about playing with those "bad boys" was their language, go to hell, shit, sort of stuff, but not THAT word of cuz. But relax, I wun get influenced. I wouldn't feel right using those words in school anywayys.I was surprised to learn more abt them..I didn't know they were such so called gentlemen actually.
Whenever I open my mouth to say, "Gei wo, wo yao." They just threw the ball to me, not relunctantly or anything. Like wu suo wei liddat..Then crowded around as I made a shot. I mean, it is a BIG DEAL okay..It's SIM YAN YING playing basketball.
Somewhere in the middle of the game, the ball got stuck in the net or smth. As me and Ah Jun were the tallest (maybe Ah Jun was 1cm taller than me...i'm soooo jealous!!) I tried pulling the net to get the ball down..Ended up hurting my index finger just a little little bit. Frictional stuff.
Those guys were not bad actually..Sometimes they can be uber naughty but sometimes just fine...I asked Ah Jun for a tissue, as they stopped the game awhile, although it was no big deal. Hurt for only like 1 minute. Samuel sarcastically asked, "You okay annot..?"
So I rolled my eyes at him.
And continued the game...
No lah, not team game or anything. Just shooting through hoops. Stuff liddat.Soon it was 5 alr, but I just couldn't stop playing. If I ever were to continue like this, I dunno how many kg I would lose. And..that would be a good thing.LOL.
As I made my way to Gate A..I couldn't resist the temptation to try once more. They were in the middle of a team game, but I wasn't aware, so I said, "Lemme try one last hoop!!"Can't believe they actually paused the game to let me shoot that one hoop. And then after I finished (which sailed nicely in the hoop), they continued playing again.What "gentlemen", those "brothers". I'm such a princess.
Maybe Nicholas is kinda irritating...But sometimes fine. Samsam and Amos and Shao Jun okay, but Amos always tio Miss Lin scold. But outside class still not bad...They even taught me a rule or two in basketball.
I guess I'm going to read up abt it. Kinda curious alr.

Yi Wen and Linson like shy shy liddat, but completely in love - you can totally see from the outside. They love it when you tease, and always around each other..ALSO GO HOME TOGETHER, although Yi Wen's parents dun approve of him. OBVIOUSLY.
Joanna actually wanted to give Ah Jun a V' day present but then think think dun wanna give alr. OMG. Waste money!!
