Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Long time no see!
Wonder Woman Returns.Yeah, long time no see! I miss you pretty body nail salon...I love you cash register...I love you salon station... Okay, that was TOTALLY 100% copyrighted by Miss Swan. My hero. And alright, we shall cut the crap as it is only like, 15 minutes to 11pm. Gasp. Sorry for the lack of blogging, really. Have been really busy..Always return home at around 4-7pm. And I'm only primary six! =) Oh yeah, and there are still activities for me sometimes in the night. Gaaah. Going to Chinatown for more project inspiration tomorrow during curriculum time...I'm already prepared for Miss Lin's big lecture. Which is pretty famous. Tomorrow she's going to go, "I am very, very disappointed with your behaviour. You talk, and talk and talk. Now I'm considering whether I should bring you out to any more excursions." And so on...You can easily dream up something. Her mind is totally "readable". My IPW group - Siew Boon, Yoke Kay, Tricia, Yu Ting, me - are pretty prepared. I think we will get most of the project done tomorrow, except for those which requires the computer. Yu Ting and Tricia was actually quite "jin zhang" today as we have to bring our own tape if we want to loan the video cam from the school. The problem was that nobody has the LP98 tape. So Yu Ting actually offered to bring her father's video cam. I was like, what?! I wouldn't dare to bring MY father's. You drop, say goodbye to $2000. Anyway, I decided to play "Guai Hai Zi" today during Chinese lesson...I had no idea why. I wasn't determined to be good, but I wasn't also doing it for fun. I just FELT LIKE IT. So I actually really learnt my ting xie during the morning assembly...And guess what I got? 100!!! Well, I was really happy, if you want the truth. Some of the words from the previous two Chinese spellings were copied, so 100 marks for those two didn't make me feel anything. It also felt really, really, really, really, really good when Zeng "patrolled" around the class, stopped at my table, looked for a moment and said in Chinese, "Your Chinese Spelling is not bad. Very Good." And so, then, I realised that she actually knows we did copy during the previous two spellings as she didn't give me any compliments while she was doing her routine "patrolling". And then I also realised that I was right because she really did have super eyes. Daryl's book was wide open, with his water bottle actually blocking the book so that the teacher in front would not see. And she did. For the rest of the two Chinese periods, I actually sat and listened. As in seriously listened...No kidding, this girl who deliberately agitates the teacher. Well, as I finally tried to open my mind for the second time (remember, I liked her for the first two days of Chinese lesson), I realised that she's not bad...We considered Zeng bad because we had a better teacher- Li Lao Shi, and so we compared them. Although I really do not like it when "criticizes" Singapore (okay, maybe indirectly, but still true) and criticizes the Singapore Education System (then why the hell did she come?) and keeps talking about how good China is. I also learned today that it is better to listen (and actively take down notes) to Zeng as, well, you can benefit at least a bit. I learnt a Cheng Yu today. =) It is better to listen and gain a least a little bit more knowledge than just sit there and make noise and agitate the teacher. Oh, and after the lesson, she said to me, "Zen me jin tian hui na me guai ah?" which also means "How come today behave so well?" I simply smiled and said, "Wo bu dong." or "I don't know." During supplementary, WJ told me that I should say, "Wo ben lai shi na me guai de ah!" which means "I'm always this good!" Took that into consideration!!! Anyway...MISS WENDY IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yea, she "mothered" me since I was seven. Okay, I mean teaches ballet. So I see her almost every week! She is back from her maternity leave...Her daugher, Sydney, was born on 9th January. Well, congrats Miss Wendy! I saw a girl in ballet costume/uniform/wadeva today while I was having my lunch in school. So very excitedly, I asked her if Miss Wendy was downstairs in the music room. She nodded. On my way, I also asked another girl, very excitedly again, for fun. LOL. Went down to the music room...Miss Wendy was having her lunch and she was, ahem, super skinny as always. Except for that slight little buldge on her tummy. Her arms and legs are still like skeleton. Although she eats alot. You should have seen her. I just stuck my head into the music room and exclaimed, "Hello Miss Wendy!" LMAO. I was "wanted" inside the room, so I went in and she started asking about Miss Jane (the relief ballet teacher) and her punishments and such. Miss Jane is strict. Seriously, but she's not bad a teacher also. Can be funny occasionally. Also asked me about the Monday class and whether Zoe got come or never come or whatever. So on... She also showed me Sydney's picture on her hp. So chubby and cute siazz!!! Chatted for awhile more, then she had to bring her Primary 5s down already. Only got 5 ppl, omg, while the Primary 6 class is like so many ppl... Oh gawd, look at the time. Good night, luv ya...ShWeEtZz... |
