Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

My Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
...Hi. ... Okay. ... Stop crapping. Had assembly today...They were giving out certificates to those people involved in the musical. Yeah, even those assistant stage managers (school boys, of cuz) and also those students (who happen to be Kar Mun, Pamela and WJ) who wrote a scene or two in the script... Wasn't much lar. Also, there was this "Thank You Brunch" on Saturday from 10.30am-12.30pm. Will get to watch the DVD and even get a free copy! I CAN'T WAIT! So far, haven't really got a chance to watch the whole thing through as I was, as well as the other dancers, constantly interrupted for this and that...Changing, our cues, and stuff. Much worse for the little actors and actresses, although it would be nice to be in their place. I guess I'll be skipping piano lessons then. WJ is not going...Dunno why. Kar Mun is. And I'm sure heaps more are!! I really missed the musical, the hustling and bustling from room to room...How quick do we need to change (LIKE, REAL QUICK! I mean, for me, I'm in the first three dances as well as one more...)...And mind you, it wasn't very slowly, okay!! It had been a great experience, and although I'm just a dancer (P5 are only dancers..), the applause was great...I mean, I love my school! The principal and the VP and the group of VIPS were giving us a standing ovation, and I could see that everyone really enjoyed it, except maybe it was a little too childish for the P5 and 6s. But it was wonderful and funny - the musical, that is. Months of rehearsals have really paid off, and during "my" dance (the one I was the lead in...And the first to come out...And where the stage only contains Chris and I for the first minute or so), I really, truly enjoyed every moment of it. I could see a few of my friends on the last night on the stage...So I smiled lar. =D The worst of the best musical was on Thursday afternoon for the P3s and 4s...Followed by the first performance, and the best of the best was on the last night, the standing ovation and the P5s and 6s. Leaving UCC was really hard - I really missed everything. From Mr Wong telling stories to kill time and all the silently running about...Changing, make-up, eating and of course, PERFORMING! From the musical, I made a lot of friends and knew more about the others. In one way or another, it had strengthen the friendship ties between everyone and we had grown to become a "family". It was something I would never forget. And speaking of dancing, I'm going to join "SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE" right after I complete university (fine, university was what everyone expected. No university, you're a loser. at least that's the singapore super-stressful way of life.) OKAY! AND WHERE WAS I?! Oh, after school, we had supplementary...Of course, boring. Then, went for the "exclusive" club at 3.30 which is now named the A-Team. Had ice-breaker first...Getting to know each other, blah blah. I knew everyone there, hello, except for this little boy...Surprisingly, not many ppl from outside his class knew him. Played the name chain, which was really difficult as we had to remember what names had been said. Example. "A. B." "A.B.C" "A.B.C.D" Get the idea? Whatever. Also had to design a logo for A-team..Each class had to do one. We did one which I thought was quite okay. Blahhs. ONE MORE THING. TODAY SUPER UNLUCKY. Guess what? Well, I was waiting outside school for my grandfather, and then I heard a SPLAT! I felt something warm on my arm instantly. I turned to look down, of course, to see something greenish-whitish. Like vomit. Guess what is that? Took me almost immediately to realise. BIRD SHIT! I was like, "Oh ____" Immediately bathe when I went home. Scrubbed myself REALLY, REALLY CLEANLY. Okay. I think I can buy 4D. Tuesday... Was really busy. After school, HMT class, after HMT class, modern dance. After modern dance, Ballet. Yeah, and so when I woke up today, my entire body was like so suan. Muscle pain!! My right arm, two thighs and even my right butt. LOL! Oh, there's also PE on Tuesday. Monday... Was really busy too! After school, had to go Chiro for my spine...After Chiropractics, tuition, after tuition, ballet. Well, I do enjoy dancing alot! It's first on my list. If I have the chance, I'm gonna learn 2 more dances after PSLE. But by then I'm at Nan Yang..See got time anot lor! Today Chinese teacher nv come. everyone was very very happy...On Tuesday, I think she said something like, "Singapore kids not independent..China kids very independent..." BLAH BLAH. Damn her. Got tuition later. Gtg |
