Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

Just my day...
School started with silent reading, as usual...Now reading The Royal Treatment. Quite an interesting and nice book.Had the video-editing lesson today, but did not learn much..Just the briefing of the camcorders. I was a lil hesitant to hold and get the feel of it as I was afraid I'd break it or something. So I took it with EXTREME caution...Hahaha. Mr. Desmond also showed us the Pocket PC and I learnt that technology is like REALLY advancing kayys. Maybe 30 years ago you had a really fat and bulky computer with thick frames and small bulged out screen..Maybe that time if you owned one your friends would be like WOW...Now if you owned one your friends would LAUGH at you. Hehehe. Also, I got chosen today to join this "exclusive" club which only consists 20 members, all "specially" chosen. Depending on our P5 results, the teacher-in-charge chose 5 students whom they think could stretch their potential from each 4 banded classes...I was one of them. Yay! It's like a CCA, and I'm going to join as... Okay. Let's admit, I'm kiasu. And second reason, I'm sure they check your CCAs as well when you get admitted to the secondary school... And finally, I'm getting to the topic of my Chinese Teacher again. I have no idea how she could use AN HOUR to just talk crap about three pages in the activity book. Uninteresting, boring crap. I wasn't listening, really. Neither is Siew Boon, Tricia, Yu Ting, Odelia, Yoke Kay....................................And the entire class dislikes her. I want to listen, really. I would really enjoy listening if she teaches like my former P5 Chinese teacher. Heck, I just want to start a petition and get her sacked. Especially because she keeps talking about China and her son. EVEN THE BADMINTON PPL ALSO COMPLAIN. She's in charge of badminton... Speaking of badminton, here's a view of yesterday after school...Filled with endless brainless laughter. LOL. Was said that there was angklung, but waited for half an hour the teacher still haven't come... Shi Han was in badminton, which starts at 2+ I think...So he came down to cure his boredom. I sat with him in Primary 4, actually. Yep. He's funny but sometimes very irritating sorrzz...Really gets on my nerves!! Anyway, he is the "got meat" type. Got meat but very tall...And so me and Jia Ling and him were kidding about..And Andrew was in the "audience". Hahar. I was punching Shi Han repeatedly on his arm (VERY HARDLY AND SPARING NO MERCY BUT HE DOES NOT SEEM TO FEEL ANY PAIN AT ALL) while teasing and laughing and standing beside Jia Ling, who was teasing and laughing too. And trying to kill time... And so there was a part where I said, "Wo shi qian jin xiao jie mah.." Joke larr!! Obviously Shi Han mistook "jin" for something else and started laughing like a loon. Then I recalled that we actually used "jin" for something else last year............ LMFAO!!! There was also one part where the "audience", with Linson Lai was sitting with their legs terribly spreaded open, and then Jia Ling said, "Ehh boys! Close your legs lah. VERY UGLY LEH!!" And everyone started laughing like crazy all over again...Also there's one point where I had to kneel and laugh cuz it was so frigging funny. Smth about "quan jia fu". It made my day. Then time to get serious...went to the general office and checked..THERE WAS NO ANGKLUNG. So everyone went home...Wasted half an hour there, although I wouldn't really call it WASTING for me... My grandfather would only be at the gate at three, so I went to the almost-deserted-with-a-few-teachers-and-pupils canteen to do my assessment (I have to say that I focus much more when I study in school than at home, i dunno why) but was interrupted not long after by some badminton ppl - Shi Han, Fiona and Yentl. AND THE LAUGHING STARTED ALL OVER AGAIN. GAHH! I love yesterday. =) |
