Profile
She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

SA2 - Results OUT
News of the century:SIM YAN YING BLOGGED. BLOGGED. -Oh my god! Actually, the results were out a long time ago. Just that I was too lazy to blog. I was having my vacation break at Africa, really, but Inspector WT just pulled me back. There! Another crap before I seriously begin my entry! English Paper 2- Oh yeah, it was easy. Only one or two questions I not sure... Marks: 87.5/95 LOST KAR MUN BY 0.5 MARKS!!! Which makes her the top in English in class. Oh shit. SA2 overall marks: 91.5/100 - A*!!! First A* in English for the whole year round...YAY!!! And to top it all, I won Kar Mun by 0.5 marks, which makes ME the top in English in class. Unbelievable. First time. In my wildest dreams. But of course, in the report book, her English marks will still be higher...I mean, in the two CAs and SA1, I lost her a fortune. They carry about 30% or 40% of the overall. ---------------------------------------------------- Math- Oh, you know...Easy, as always...But this was super, ultimate easy. I bet I could score an A* if I was in P4 . No, P3. Well, just shoot off the percentage and ratios. And because it's easy, that why I'm MORE afraid. Careless mistakes...For the first time, I checked like, 1 mistake in the multiple choice...I knew the answer, but I selected another answer. How careless! Also checked TWO 5 MARKS QUESTION WRONGED. I missed out some steps! Really heaved a sigh of relief then. Another question. Super careless. It was when I checked the SECOND time when I spotted it. Damn, if what I thought was "Oh well, this paper is so easy...No need check also can get full marks...", I'd be dead. SO DEAD! Math- it's the paper I'm most afraid to take...It puts alot of pressure on me, like a huge mountain pressing me down. Seriously. It's my best subject, and I topped the class in SA1 and CA2. Not topping the class in SA2? MAH LU!!! (Embarrassing) Marks: 100 (Alongside with 3 others, Shu Ting, Jia Ling and Gerald. So WE topped the class, not I =). Congrats everyone!) ------------------------------------------------------ Chinese Paper 2- It's quite okay, but...oh, you know how much I hate it...Will not emphasize. Marks: 72.5/90 (At least I tried my best.) SA2 overall marks: 81.3/100. (AHEM. At least I got an A and improved by 1.3 marks.) ------------------------------------------------------- Science- The paper was...super, ultra easy. Yeah, yeah, it was. Really. Never expected to top the class but... Marks: FULL MARKS. (Initially got 99, like Kar Mun. But teacher marked WRONG!) -------------------------------------------------- Conclusion for SA2: Topped English, Math (you can't expect me to get 101 what...) and Science. Way to go. Position: 3rd. (If I go to other banded classes like 5B and 5C, I would have gotten a FIRST. I mean, both their 1st positions like...Lose me...And if they are in our class, they would get a 5th...Really. Seriously. Not kidding. Even Ren Zhi's results are better. So you see, life's never fair.) Reason being: Lost out alot in Chinese (I see absolutely no reason to improve on it already as it's hopeless, you know. I'm not a natural.), and Kar Mun and Jia Ling's results in the previous exams were better. Well, at least I beat Ren Zhi. Not trying to talk bad about anyone, but many people dislikes her. For reasons that I know, but in order to be GOOD, I will not mention it here... Will update about the musical (a really naggy aunty is screaming at my ear for me to go to...Bathe) and New Zealand trip when I'm back, which is about 5th? 6th? December. |
