She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not. Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.Tag

World Cup FINALS +...whatever
10th July 2006***Tuesday*** Okay, so... Italy won. Yep, it won its 4th World Cup. =) I'm so sure that brazil is jumping for joy, as France was the one which booted them out. Big time. What was that score again? Back to Earth. Italt won France in the penalty kick 5-3. Damn it, if only ZIDANE was there. And you know what happened to Zidane? RED CARD! Nope, HE DID NOT GET TWO YELLOW CARDS. Well, I don't know why, and I'm heading for the newspaper later, but he...Suddenly turned into a PIT BULL and went HEAD FIRST into the CHEST of an Italy player. Delibrately. Purposely. Whatever you call it, but it was ON PURPOSE. Okay, that was a totally, extreme, STUPID ACT. Yeah, so then he couldn't even GET ON THE FIELD TO GET THAT PRECIOUS MEDAL which, um...most of the France players took off from their neck and stuff it into the pocket. Yeah, yeah, they expected the CUP. World Cup Trophy. I supported France, but predicted Italy... But it somehow changed a little after. No, no, I'm not a soreloser. From what I thought, France looked like, really proud before the game, expecting to win...Italy, I don't think so. So I pretty much though Italy deserved it, and the overjoyed look on their face after they knew they had won was...Great.=) Oh great, Wan Ting's gonna kill me for saying this. Hey, rmb Namina? Oh man, at least some of the "Francers" shouldn't give that disgusted look on their face and whipped off their medals from their neck and stuff it into their pocket. I would be QUITE happy if my country would ever get the 2nd in the WC. Hello, this is SINGAPORE. When do you expect Singapore to win this?? I think year 987654321, when the Earth has exploded. Uhm, has it? Yeah, I would be like, damn sad too. Mixed emotion bah, but more of sadness lah. BUT AT LEAST DUN SORELOSER! I'm already missing World Cup so much. *Sobs, sobs* Okay, maybe I'll be watching other soccer games lah. If got, that is. For those I know, there's Manchester United (most popular bah), Mandrid or sumthing...And I heard WJ say Chelsea. ??? Is that supposed to be a girls name?!?! Finnee, whatever. Now to the topic of school... Same, nothing interesting. And the interesting-boring thing is that I'm looking at the classroom clock every 5 seconds in Chinese class. NO KIDDING. I just can't wait for Chinese to be over. It is so darn bo-ring. From 1-3, it was so darn BO-RING. Waiting for Modern Dance to begin. Some of the classes even wanted Mr. Zul (MD de, not guitar lah!) to choreograph the National Day Inter-Class Dance competition! Play cheat!! And cuz Ms. Lin knows Mr. Zul, YYK and I asked her to ask Mr. Zul to help us too...But we still have to twist a little bit, cuz from the other class that Mr. Zul helped has more MD girls, so you know... Then tuition spoiled my day. =) -------------- ***Wednesday*** Man, I especially LOVE Wednesday! In no particular orders: 1) 1 PERIOD OF CHINESE. (Damn, this is the best thing) 2) Assembly, so takes up 30 mins of lesson time. 3) School lets out at 12.30pm. Try taking out the 30 minutes...(Plus today there's the NE show briefing..Minus another 30 mins for today. We're going on Saturday. =) Damn, I know it's so super crowded, and it's one thing I don't look forward to.) 4) There's Ballet. 5) There's ANGKLUNG. Let's talk about Ballet first. Leave ANGKLUNG. Today was so super great, except that my tights just TORE. Yeah, the place on my upper-inner thigh. Hang on, I wore that since P3 Ballet SYF hor!!! Impressive. NOT. And my big toe was so frigging painful when it was pointing and touching the floor. =.= Finne, whatever. I'm so glad that stomach exercises are getting so much easier!!! Cuz we had to do it for almost every ballet lesson, and when I did 120, I almost couldn't stand up, and today's THIRTY is like a piece of cake. Okay, now for angklung. I joined it because I found it nice and interesting. And I like the sound that comes out of it. Jia Ling please take note. =) Beginning. Well after ballet, I waited for Yoke Kay at the so called haunted toilet (The Angklung teacher said so, according to XM) while taking out that damn bun. It was so freaking ugly and I've gotten used to the boys teasings anyway. But it still sucks lah. Well then, I was watching Angklung outside the window, as i sometimes do, then I was "summoned" by Mrs. Ong to go in...Then she asked me if I wanted to join, and so i said okay. No big changes to schedules what. Usually go home at around 4, and angklung ends at three, starts at...1, i think. But I go after ballet, at around 2.20- 2.25pm. So missed alot, but it's just for leisure only... No worries. =D -------------------------- ***Thursday*** Newspaper article presentation.. Okay, it went all quite well lah. At least got ppl laugh. =) Well, Mr Wong said it's JQ that spoilt most of it, cuz...he didn't pronounce his words properly, and you know, lack of confidence. What he said on me was... That... Okay, not really what you'd call BAD. That I'm confident on stage, a naturalist on stage (well, the stage is my home and how many times I've been up there is uncountable, so...), expression was good, except for the last expressionless "bye bye" part. And that if I train harder, I can become a compere. Okay. Well, I introduced myself as YY, cuz the thing started off with "Good morning ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. I'm YY and thank you for tuning in to Channel Yew Tee." Initially it was a family name when I was younger, I mean, no one else calls me that except sometimes my mom... My friends started calling me that last year, and yeah. YY, YY, YY. Now the school (not exactly lah) knows. Supplementary. It's great that I'm sitting with LJY. For some reasons. Miss Lin put her between FJL and me, and then directly in front of her is Ren Zhi. So she's surrounded by the 2nd, 3rd, 4th positions. No worries le. Miss Lin. =) We all guai guai one. I kinda "commanded" LJY to eat lunch with me every Thursday...So that I can talk to her. No, not as in I'm a wannabe, wanting to follow HER. Puiis. Changing her ways. Cuz I have nth else to do. =D ------------------------------------ ***Friday*** Okay, so people started coming up to me, to YYing here and YYing there...Host, whatever. I mean, about the newspaper article presentation. I feel as if nothing liddat. Cuz it's all so normal to me already...Get up on stage, yadayada. Hey, WHO SAYS A VIRGO IS QUIET?? WHO SAYS A VIRGO DUN ENJOY BEING IN THE LIMELIGHT?! WHO SAYS A VIRGO DOES NOT WANT TO BE IN THE SPOT LIGHT?!??!?! NOT ME!!!!!!!! I'm a virgo and...duh?! ---------------------------------------- ***Saturday*** FINE, PEOPLE!!! It's the NE show!!!!!!!! What I'm disappointed about is.... WHERE'S MY 8 DAYS??!??! When has 8 Days been turned into KIDS COMPANY?! EEK. Very much so, I did enjoy it. I screamed like anything, I sang like anything. Well, for once, I didn't care how AWFUL my voice sounded. I just belted out the song. Everything helps to relax. To get away from the complications in my life...It has been turning VERY complicated lately. This year. Me, YYK, Odelia, Carissa, and sometimes Sherry, Xi Mei, Chin Siang and Tricia, were singing like, 24/7 when we were waiting for our school's name to be called, so that we can go back. Altogether, we sang around 15-20 different songs, sometimes repeatedly! And Sherry, YYK, Odelia, Carissa, and I, sometimes Xi Mei, loves irritating the boys sitting in front of us by SCREAMING!!!! We're setting up an unofficial screaming club. LMAO. No acceptance of outside members!!! It's also the time when I sang the National Anthem with most pride and sincerity, and the loudest I sang it. Man, I LOVE SINGAPORE!!!!!!!! Regardless of the oh so strict n stress educations, or parents. There's the dating system where my mother only allows me to date after I'm TWENTY-ONE. So goddamn unfair. Americans can start dating at THIRTEEN. Okay, okay. Fine, fine. It's for my own good. Focus on my studies, yah, yah, whatever...Become a nerd...Get a decent occupation, earn lots of money...Have no fun... This is life here? Ohh. Interesting. NOT. But hello, Singapore is bomb free, earthquake free, tsunami free, tornado free, flood free, natural disasters free, etc. I know those can happen ANYTIME, so just...becareful lah. But at least nothing has happened. Just yet. Except for the tsunami which caused a little quake here in the middle of the night (remember?) , when I didn't felt anything! ARGHH! And it's the clean and green country!!! WOOHOO, YOU GO, GIRL! =D Lucky no sorethroat...even though I almost had. -------------------------------------------- ***Monday*** Napfa test... Okay, okay. 17 points, excluding the 1.6km run...Testing on next next Monday. I'm dying! Scores: Sit and Reach: 38cm, B. (OMG, ONE MORE CM TO A!!!) I. Pull Up: 8, C, if I'm not wrong. (Aiya, i suck at this.) Standing Broad Jump: 135cm, D. (I suck at this too!) Sit up: 34, A (I rock at this.) Shuttle Run: 12.6 seconds (I can't run fast.) My PE is so damn lan. Exercising and PE has been my very worst since young... =D I don't care. Pass can liao. At least better than Pamela also...I partnered her for Napfa test. But then, I found out that she's the stick-with-popular-girls-type. Last time, Fiona was popular, she stick with her. And from what my friends said, that I'm popular. Now she sticks with me...Even abandoned Yu Ting to join my group in the SS project. They were initially finding groups together. So I guess she can't cling onto her own popularity rope. --------------------------------------------- ***Tuesday*** New South Wales, English. Okay, it's quite okay lah...Maybe credit, I suppose. =) At least my IT got distinction. =) After school, I played catching with a few of my friends. Boy friends. No, not boyfriends, it's boy friends. Male friends. Friends who are boys. Whatever. You ought to have some lessons, anyway. Not that they asked me, or I asked them if I can play...Auto. Initially, it was some boys from my Chinese class...Wilson, and two other guys. Okay, he shouted out "Liu Lian Tou" which means "Durian Head", which is my nickname according to them. I forgot how it was originated, but I know that it was ME which created it. For some...reasons. Yeah. I have lots of nicknames. Look. 1) YY (The most popular one) 2) Pai Gia (Least popular) 3) MsPaiGia (Least popular) 4) Pretty Princess (Yeah, yeah, a lame one from Sherry) 5) Liu Lian Tou (From some boys in Chinese class) 6) Sabo Watermelon (From some guitar boys...) 7) Queen Bee (According to Ms. Annabelle and Ms. Jia Ling) I don't know if I have missed out anything, but seriously, I have nothing against them, except for the.... Mrs. "Someone". "Someone" is a guy's surname (which I will, of course, not type it in here), so that's the nickname which I will always turn into a fiend and start hitting that person. Rumor has it, you know. Definitely not Ang Shi Han!!! He sucks, that immature pig... Back to earth. So for fun, even though I have nothing against it, I started running after and hitting those three guys.. But at the same time, SJ, WJ, E, KW (If i'm not wrong) and 1 or 2 more guys, were playing catching, so someone catched me, but I didn't say anything, but tried to catch the two groups of guys. =) Catched WJ. =) =) =) =) ---------------------------------- ***Sunday*** I might have missed out some posts from Tuesday-Saturday, but I will try to post it, if I have the time... CUZ I'M GOING TO CAMP TOMORROW!!! Okay, the excitement wasn't really there... And I did a last minute packing. Packed tonight. After I return, I'll give you a full detail post, starting from packing, cuz my mother says, "camp hui lai gei ni blog dao ni gou.", which means When you come back from camp, you can blog however much you want. Goodnite! Oh, wait. Last thing. Don't anyhow talk. Cuz the ghost gates are opening... *shivers* |
