She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.

Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol.

She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for.

She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism.

She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship.

Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours.

Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all.

“Forevers” are bullshit as of now.

The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too.

She is always torn between two.

But she is determined when she sets her mind on something, so she wants the world to shut up and believe in her. Just watch.

One of the most fabulous weeks.

Hard to believe...The exam week is one of the most fabulous weeks for me.
I don't know why, but I just had a great time this week!
I'll start from Monday, the English paper. It was quite easy. Hmm...With one question I don't know and a few which I'm not really sure of. I really really hope that I will get at least an A!!! Got a B for CA1...What has got me really mad is that it's just ONE PRECIOUS MARK until A!
Had Math on Tuesday. It's my strength, so it was easy for me. Most of them said that it was difficult. But hey, people have their own strength or weakness too. Target : A*
My weakness is Chinese, where people like Chuah Jia Ying and Foong Si Min found it so easy, but it was perfectly fine (totally average) for me. I'm also targeting to get an A.
Science was a bit easy. Targeting an A. After that paper, I was just so happy. After all, it was declared 2006 SA1 finished.
Miss Lin was kind of out of her mind on Thursday. Let's start from the 'Andrew punishment'. His punishment was to sing a song in front of the class...I'm not sure because of what though. He sang 'Tong Hua' which is like, so boring.
Then, the most 'out of her mind' thing was she brought us to the music room and instructed us to gather up into groups of six. We had 15 minutes to plan what we're gonna do: Skit, Dance, or song. Dancing was easy for me (i mean, for me, i do freestyle, my own steps and all) but for the rest...Nah. I don't think we shared much of singing in common, so it was out too. And what's left was the skit. No one had any ideas, even me. Can you believe it? Me, without ideas. Really. There was just about 5 minutes left and there wasn't enough time for a script. Carrissa (the one who begged me to be in the same group as me-how clever), Yoke Kay, Siew Boon, Batrisyia and Julia Ng were in my group. So I roughly just blurted out a not-up-to-my-standard-idea as there wasn't much time to think. I instructed them to just roughly do something. The whole thing was just unplanned and it sucked. I was blurting the first thing that came into my mind to keep the whole thing going while the rest of them were just gong gong doing nothing, except for Batrisyia and Siew Boon- who at least did something.
The whole thing was just stupid.
Stayed back with Yoke Kay, Siew Boon, Batrisyia and Jing Feng on that day...I suddenly got an idea of SOMETHING and we were discussing about it- the huge secret...You guys will know later. It was just so fun and nice, that Thursday. Using the computer to do what I want after a whole week was just...Splendid!
Friday was Vesak day. Went to the Buddhist temple that morning/ early afternoon to offer prayers. I can see the temple clearly from here, my room. It was just right below.
At night, when it was pass midnight, there was a noise downstairs, and we discovered that it's the Taoism tradition thing. We (my family) were just about to sleep. We wanted to like, chou re nao, so my father drove all of us there. Hey, it was my father's idea okay...
As most of you have known, my curiousity KILLS ME! I asked lots of questions about the Taoism religion. By the time we came back, it was past 1 and my mother and brother were already very sleepy. I'm a total owl, so I still wanted to do something else other than sleep!
On Saturday, I went to Annabelle's (my soul sister) house in the afternoon!!! We've got a secret project that's gonna be a BIG BLAST later...Shhh....Anna, you know...We talked about a lot of things, even our secrets while doing the 'project'. We have so much in common and she reminded me of those silly silly things that I did when I was in P3...Haha!
At night, we (my family) went to Kai Ma's house to eat...Roast chicken!! Spagetti, Macheroni (it's the wrong spelling, I know), salad and roast chicken. It sounds little, but then after the whole meal, I FELT SO FULL!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was delicious too!
Lee Chen Ah Yi drove aunty and I home first...We watched Just Like Heaven until I got too tired and slept. Sometimes she can be like a sister and sometimes, plain naggy and irritating.
So today...Hmm. Went to popular and got 4 books. Digital Fortress and Deception Point by Dan Brown, Snow Flowers and the Secret Fan by Lisa See, Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.
Since this year, I've been going for bestsellers and stuff. The books are nicer and better written.
Still hadn't read Memoirs of Geisha or Da Vinci Code (gonna borrow from my cousin...It's in my another cousin's hand right now) yet. Then later went to Wai Po and Wai Gong's house to...chill. Haha. SX, WT, YC and JT weren't there...Probably preparing for exams. Secondary school is tough, not mentioning College.
Somehow, I don't think of the results as much this weekend...*shrugs* What's important is to be happy, and results aren't everything, even though it also plays a part in your reputation.
My goals:
To finish reading The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova by the end of the June holidays. It's a totally awesome book with 701 pages to complete...One of Life!'s bestseller.
Finish the secret project by the end of the June Holidays.
Finish the Young Geneticist project and Young IT whiz project by the end of June holidays.
Get the THING that YK, B, SB, JF and I manage properly ready by THAT CERTAIN DATE.
Okay, got to go pack my bag...CAN'T WAIT FOR THE RESULTS!!! Sorry for posting about the exams so late...Had so much fun IMing and surfing the net...Wasn't really in the mood to blog for the past 3 days. Gosh, hadn't even messaged Lindsay yet!!!
Got to take a rest too...Been blogging for the past 1 hour.
Will tell you about my results tomorrow..If I get them. And dun blame me if I no mood to blog.
