She is unpredictable, frequent moodswings. Sometimes she’s nice, and sometimes she’s not.
Her name is Yan Ying. 90% of the world can’t pronounce it properly, simple as it seems. But no one really cares so they just call her YY. She is not fond of people with the same name as her. She turns 14 on 6th September and she loves her birthday cause it is a sex symbol. She was from Yew Tee Primary and is still proud of her school. She will never forget the class of 6D’07, or the batch of P6’07. She is currently an idiot in Nanyang Girls High and it is a love-hate relationship. She belongs to 202’09 which she, to be honest, doesn’t feel much for. She is a Theatre Club girl and is more than proud to be one. She especially loves Emo Batch♥, and looks forward to devoting her next 3 years to TCN with much optimism. She does ballet with more than just passion but she can’t do a center split. She is trying her best and is currently aiming for a far-fetched distinction for Grade6. She loves hiphop just as much though she’s pretty new at it. Her favourite sport is swimming and she occasionally plays basketball as a form of stress-relief. She likes to be tan and loves her swimming tan line. The piano, is yet another love-hate relationship. Like most teenagers, her hobbies include MSNing, blogging, and youtubing and facebooking. She loves shopping and doing random stuff like gaying people, jumping over railings, walking in the rain, and having completely irregular sleeping hours. Unlike most teenagers, she thinks that rap music is trash. She also thinks that she is getting old cause she hates the songs the average listens to these days. She can’t explain her love for oldies, country music, ballads, and sentimentals. Nostalgic songs are the best. Her favourite bands are Michael Learns to Rock, The Beatles and Westlife. She loves too many singers to name them all. “Forevers” are bullshit as of now. The night speaks to her the way no one else can. Her favourite thing to do is to curl up with a book on a rainy afternoon in her room, where she feels safest in. Her favourite flower is a black rose, but on the contrary, she likes rainbows and hugs too. She is always torn between two. CAMPING!!!!
Camping's fun,Camping's nice,
Camping's always THE BEST!
Hihi, came back from camping liao! I kinda miss the campfire night, very fun leh! Okie, let's start from day one. Arrived in school at 7.23am and went to the hall to assemble. The instructers and teachers gave us a little briefing about the camp and the rules and we were ready to board the bus to pasir ris. I sat with my best friend, Foong Si Min on the bus or rather my camp partner on the bus. We played the game Concentration with Pamela, Fiona and Ngakei who is sitting right behind us. We got bored of the game soon- our hands are tired from clapping and...tapping our laps? So we talk to the instructers/tress, mainly about ghost... A shiver went down my spine when Si Min told me about the show, Jian Gui Shi. I'm already having the shivers now! She said it was damn scary. Some of the instructress also watch!
Not too long later, we reached pasir ris and put our bags in one of the hut. Later, we gathered around to play some games.
After the games, we pitched our tents- I LOVE IT!!! It was so much fun. It take a lot of team work as well as cooperation. One person cannot pitch a tent by him or herself- unless he or she is really an expert- that's one of my instructer when he demostrated how to pitch a tent. We cleared all the litters inside the tent. Then, it was time to gather and the instructers/tress (ai ya, I say instructer can liao.. take it as both gender!) made us choose our team members for the tents (no boys!). Si Min, Pamela, Fiona, Ngakei and I were already a team but a tent needs 6 person and there are 4 girls without any group so one of the girls, Pearlyne, who is my classmate, chose to sleep in the same tent as us.
We had a problem solving lessons after making those decisions and it was delayed to after lunch cos most of us were hungry- maybe everyone? who noes? So we went to the marque and sat on the carnvas to have our lunch- chicken rice... taste quite okay lah. I finished it all! We continued our problem solving lesson after lunch and it was time to play some problem solving games, woo hoo! Untanglement and turn over a new leaf. They're quite difficult especially the turn over a new leaf. We went to have a water break and went back to the marque to gather immediately. Then, one of the instructer, Mr. Greg, gave us a simple briefing of the games that we are going to play next. Heard already quite interesting, play already quite boring! Mine field (so far the best, but couldn't the games be more interesting?), Danger Zone (everyone went crazy about it at first, mainly because of the name. After Greg brief us about this game, no one wants to play it for the first game!!! So, you cannot judge a book by its cover. In this case, you cannot judge a game by its name!), Nuclear waste (especially difficult!), Flip over a new leaf (same lyk turn over a new leaf but the mat was much smaller so the title had changed.
It was time to shower after those games that requires problem solving, team work and cooperation. Everyone had wanted to shower so much including me, who's always lazy to shower. Guess why we wanted to shower so much? Cos we were all stinking and dirty and smelly! We went to the chalet swimming pool toilet to shower. Si Min and I were the last one at the queue cos since so many people were inside the stuffy bathroom, we decided to wait outside, where it is not so hot. We chatted with Xiao Qi Jie Jie. Oh, sorry!!!!!! forgot to tell u about the instructers! There's Xiao Qi Jie Jie and Gun gor gor (rather ah gun! btw, they're both our instructers. We're in group 2, same lyk Fiona, Pamela and Ngakei.) Ivan, Wei Yee, Leonard (Lenny Jie Jie- no, he's a male but that's his nickname), Desiree, Zing, Treezer (don noe how to spell... btw, she's MRS. GREG!!!! No lah, tat one is juz for fun but everyone calls her tat. Wonder if she'll really marry Mr. Greg or not, since she don have boyfriend. One thing, I'll chop of my head if she really marries Mr. Greg! Juz joking, but she won't, as far as i noe...), Sree. All are stated liao. Back to the shower part! It didn't really matter if we were the last to shower since Xiao Qi will be outside wif some of the girls waiting for us. We reach the marque at about 8pm to eat our dinner then learn some cheers- I'll state all the cheers/songs that i can remember now and type their lyrics... but i don tink u'll noe the tune.
